ANTI-BLAZE, a junior member of the MINI-CON Council of Sages, was among those who argued most passionately against asking OPTIMUS PRIME and his AUTOBOTS for help. he felt that involvement with the larger TRANSFORMERS had brought only grief to the MINI-CON race, though he now regrets his position. He has been forced to make the unpleasant transition from a relatively unknown political figure to a military leader at the front lines as he fights against THRUST and hte other evil MINI-CON rebels.
For THRUST and his mates on the SKY TERROR TEAM there is no greater joy then to defy the laws of the MINI-CON Council of Sages. The peaceful MINI-CON colonies on the moons of CYBERTRON are more prison than home to THRUST, who thrives on chaos. The appearance of the black hole offered a rare opportunity for him. The Council of Sages' refusal to ask the AUTOBOTS for help made it easy for him to sabotage the ships intended to evacuate the MINI-CON robots, leaving htem all trapped on the increasingly dangerous colonies as the black hole grows ever more powerful.

For SURESHOCK, it's nice to finally be back in action. He's enjoyed the relative peace uncer the Council of Sages, but even the most exciting off-road courses on the moons of CYBERTRON don't compare to hopping from asteroid to asteroid under the constant threat of enemy attack. SURESHOCK lives for excitment, after all, and there's nothing more exciting than penetrating deep into enemy territory in order to pick a fight! He's up against BACKBLAST, a simple robot, nearly incapable of independant thought. When BACKBLAST is told to attack, he attacks, and does not stop attacking until the order is given. It is only when he is joined with the other two members of the Deep Space MINI-CON Team as the powerful UMBRAL BLASTER that he feels his full potential. As a robot, he is only a barely sentient battering ram, but as a part of the UMBRAL BLASTER the energy stored within his armored body is released in an unstoppable storm of destruction.

In between the moons of Cybertron trails a 3,000 mile-long field of debris left there by the many battles that have been fought in orbit around the machine planet. It is in the dangerous, remote center of this desolate asteroid field that Blastcharge, under the direction of Sunstorm, has constructed a decoy base of operations. The leader of the Deep Space Mini-Con Team had hoped to luer in and destroy fighters for the Mini-Con Council of Sages. He never imagined that the Council would send the one and only Street Action Team to their Doom!
High Wire and his teammates on the Street Action Team returned to Cybertron as heroes after the Energon Battles. As a result, they were among the first warriors enlisted by Anti-Blaze and the Mini-Con Council of Sages to fight the Mini-Con rebels. He is reluctant to return once again to battle, but he also knows that - combined as Perceptor - the Street Action Team is the most powerful warrior among the Mini-Cons, and the only one with a chance of going up against the Deep Space Mini-Con team and winning.

Checkpoint worked as an information specialist and spy for Anti-Blaze even before Thrust began his rebellion. His speed and talent for disguise, as well as a cluster of holographic projectors housed on either side of his head make him ideal for infiltrating enemy formations. But his real talent is in his ability to get a read on a subject with minimal contact; Checkpoint can make incredibly accurate guesses about an individual's personality and motives after only a few moments of conversation. This talent makes him a dangerous enemy, and a valuable resource to Anti-Blaze and the Council of Sages.
One of the rebel generals most trusted by Thrust, some suspect that Sunstorm is the true intelligence behind the Mini-Con rebellion against the Council of Sages, and that this sudden uprising may have some deeper purpose to it besides simple chaos. Indeed. Sunstorm has secretly established contact with a small group of Decepticons in hiding on the surface of Cybertron. His intention is to cause enough chaos among the Mini-Con colonies to allow them to be easily conquered by the Decepticons, after which they will joint Galvatron on the quest for domination of the Universe!

One of the only Mini-Con teams operating on the Giant Planet without the partnership of a larger robot, these three have made a long habit of bitterness. Uninterested in construction projects - or simply without the patience to work on a building crew in the case of Longarm - the Giant Planet Mini-Con Team roam abandoned sections of the world-city engaging their destructive impulses, and occasionally raiding work sites to steal supplies.

During the long years of relative solitude before and since their discovery on the Moon by the larger Transformers, Kobushi came to the conclusion that personal perfection could be attained through challenging combat. Every enemy destroyed, he believes, adds to his own power as a warrior. He has devoted his life to improving his martial skill, adapting the ancient art of Metallikato to most effectively use his diamond tipped drill arm. Landslide, the toughest individual on the Exploration Team, has been his frequent opponent, and Kobushi challenges him at every opportunity.
Landslide is at peace always. His long contemplation has taught him the path to inner stillness. He has let go of the physical world, and embraced the world beyond. Recently, he has discovered how to project his core programming out of his robotic body for a limited time and into astral space. There, he has encountered ohter, powerful beings, and learned many truths. Though Kobushi attempts to interrupt his meditation at every opportunity with petty challenges, Landslide has yet to fall before the aggressive robot's attacks, using his inner strength and passive nature to create the ultimate martial defense.

You'd expect anyone as big and tough as Payload to be pretty dumb, or at least used to relying on his natural strength and endurance to get him through life. Many have made the same mistake, but you underestimate the intelligence of this Mini-Con at your peril. Payload would much rather outwit his opposition than destroy them in a straight fight. He therefore spends his time setting traps and pitfalls for Ascentor, who - while smart - is often distracted by his own thoughts.
Unlike Monocle, and Landslide, Ascentor maintained contact with the Mini-Con robots that returned to Cybertron after the Armada Battles. Over the years, he has developed a philosophical give-and-take with the Mini-Con Council of Sages. This ongoing discussion occupies much of his core processor time, causing him to be distracted, and vulnerable to the traps set by payload. However, his years of deep thought have also caused his sensory and motor-control systems to rewrite themselves, giving him what appears to be nearly be a sixth sense when it comes to avoiding pitfalls and sneak attacks.

Razorclaw has such a passion for destruction that he prefers strafing ground targets with his powerful machineguns rather than bombing them from high altitutude. Anarchy is his bread and butter; he lives to crush his enemies, drive them before them, and here the lamentations of the survivors. Nothing gives him as much pleasure as destroying a great city and razing its cultural institutions - libraries, museums, schools - for he knows that ignorance is the seed of chaos, and it is in chaos he feels most comfortable.
Few enemies are as bitter as Steamhammer and Razorclaw. Steamhammer took his vehicle form because of a deep love of life and order. He believes that war is an unnatural disruption of the organized advance of culture, and does everything he can to limit combat and defend vulnerable targets. He looks at warfare as a necessary evil, but one that only does damage to the civilizations that wage it. Despite his own heroism, he never sees anything but the terrible cost of war at the conclusion of any battle.

JOLT -- the leader of the team, and the only one able to speak a human language - is a great lover of human culture, addicted to television, music and the Internet. On more than one occasion he has caused difficulty for the AUTOBOTS by forgetting he's not a human being. Six-Speed and Reverb, though sometimes frustrated by their leader's tendency to become distracted by cartoons and web-comics, love the excitement of missions with their human partners, working as a fast response strike and rescue team on away missions on the Lost Planets.

There are legends on the Moon among human colonists of ghost vehicles - autos and aircraft without drivers - that sometimes charge in from the barren, lunar desert to destroy a settlement or a vital terraforming project. The vicious ghosts then disappear into the depths of the lunar night, leaving few survivors. Scattorbrain for his part relishes his status as a legend, and plays up the ghost angle at every opportunity, appearing for a few moments on the horizon near a human outpost, and then disappearing before he can be identified; occasionally attacking smaller outposts to wreak a little havoc and keep the rumors going.
Monocle could be considered one of the mysterioius ghost vehicles, but for a different reason. He and his companions on the Exploration Team stayed on the Moon after most of the other Mini-Con robots left because they wanted solitude and quiet contemplation. They spend most of their time on the dark side of the Moon, where few humans go, and are occasionally spotted by explorers driving across the empty landscape, or meditating on the floor of an old crater. Their peace is distrubed only by the disruptive aggression of Scattorbrain and the other members of the Lunar Assault Team.

Scrap Iron got his name because of his talent ofr locking onto and destroying moving targets from space. You'd know you were in his target zone when you stumbled across the unidentifiable remains of whatever was there before. He's not too into the idea of running a defensive operation in deeps space, which was why he was so glad to hear that the Street Action Team was on its way. He's never met them, but it's nice to have the opportunity to destroy a celebrity.
Like High Wire, Grindor has fond memories of the peace they found on Earth after the end of the Energon Battles. He had fully supported the formation of an independent Mini-Con state on the moons of Cybertron, and was a local booster of the Mini-Con Council of Sages. He believes that all Mini-Cons can and should live in peace, and he still harbors hopes that the conflict with the rebels can be resolved without too much fighting.

Unlike his friend Anti-Blaze, Scythe is a born fighter. A mobile and heavily armed brawler ready for a battle at a moment's notice, he never backs down, even from overwhelming odds. Scythe has known the freshman politician since before the Mini-Con robots first fled Cybertron for Earth millions of years ago. Now the two, together with Checkpoint, are brothers-in-arms in the fight against Thrust and his evil Mini-Con rebels.
One of the very few Mini-Con robots capable of long-distance spaceflight, Ramjet was recruited early on by Thrust. Relatively unarmed, he's more of a conman than a warrior; before Thurst began his rebellion against the Mini-Con Council of Sages he offered bargain tours of the Mini-Con colonies on the moons of Cybertron, often leaving tourists stranded in remote areas. Now, he charges extraordinary fees to robots desperate to escape the black hole only to dump them on the Terrorcon infested surface of Cybertron, or worse, into the black hole itself!

This team has been through too much to split up now that the universe has been saved. They’ve taken their orders to explore the galaxy seriously, outfitting themselves with cloaking devices so as to explore new worlds and new civilizations without disturbing the natives. Just because they’re off adventuring across space doesn’t mean they’ve forgotten their friends, of course. Every once in a while, when they discover something particularly exciting, they head back to Earth, pick up Bud, Lori and Coby and go on one more spin across the cosmos.

With the departure from Earth of the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS, SHOCKWAVE and the Sky Attack found themselves free to pursue their own interests. SHOCKWAVE has spent the last decade hiding among the armed forces of dictators and tyrants around the world, signing on with whoever is most likely to give him the opportunity to rain fire down on helpless soldiers and civilians. There's nothing SHOCKWAVE loves more than to see a huge column of oily black smoke rising from the center of a populated area, and know that it was his bombs that lit the fires.
After the Unicron Battles, many Mini-Con chose to remain on Earth, in hiding and seperate from the ongoing conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons. Tankor, with his teammates on the Air Defense Team, hid among the armed forces of Earth so that they could protect the humans from Shockwave and the Sky Attack Team. The desire to protect human life is nearly an obsession for Tankor; he exists solely to prevent the damage inflicted by Shockwave and his aerial companions. The return of the Transformers to Earth has forced them once again to take sides in a larger conflict.

Sky Lynx prides himself on his ability to evade enemy defenses and drop his payload with pinpoint accuracy from amazing altitudes. The only one among all Transformers to ever offer him a challenge in this is Thunderblast, and for that he grants his rival respect and admiration. Given the distance involved in their battles the two have met face to face only rarely, but Sky Lynx considers Thunderblast a friend, despite their differing philosophies.
These two aggressive robots have been rivals for centuries. Over the years Thunderblast has specialized in long-range defense against high altitude attacks specifically for the purpose of defeating Sky Lynx. The two robots treat this rivalry as a game, ultimately caring little for victory, as long as they can offer each other a challenge. Thunderblast shares a rough sort of respect with Sky Lynx, and wishes that circumstances were different so that they might be friends in peace as well as war.

The talent of the members of the Street Speed Mini-Con Team for working in tandem while racing at top speed across a battlefield or crowded city freeway has made them invaluable as spies and scouts for the Autobots. All three are in love with racing, and they sometimes disappear for weeks to compete in the Speed Planet rally circuit.
