BRIMSTONE likes the simple things -- food, flying, trashing AUTOBOTS. He leaves stuff like thinking, planning and noticing what's going on in the world around him to his pal UNDERMINE, which is just as well because that tiny, little head of his contains a badly undersized CPU. Still, being dumb doesn't make BRIMSTONE any less dangerous. In flight, he is totally silent, and his diamond-edged vanadium wing blades can pierce even the toughest armor.

One of many scientists working for Megatron, Brushguard has dedicated his life to xenobotany - the study of alien plant life. A firm believer in Decepticon supremacy, he hopes to find unique toxins in Earth plants for use against the Autobots and their human allies. Though he dislikes violence, he has been retrofitted to fire short-range bursts of superheated acid from his chest.

Despite the evacuation of Cybertron, and the incredible danger presented by the black hole, many of the bravest, craziest or most foolish stayed behind. Buzzsaw is one of the crazies, a dangerous rogue from the Decepticon old guard who intends to hoard as much of the planet's Energon as he can for himself, hoping to gain enough power to destroy the Autobots upon their return! For now, he is content to lurk in the abandoned cities of Cybertron, practicing his marksmanship by blowing the tops off the old Energon Towers.

A reckless pirate concerned only with where his next bit of stolen treasure is coming from. Cannonball and his crew of oil-thirsty pirates have terrorized merchant starships for centuries, returning to Cybertron only rarely to refuel and spend their ill-gotten loot on black-market Energon stars and pleasure programs. He claims loyalty to the Decepticon cause only because Megatron allows him to operate freely as long as he continues to attack only Autobot ships.

Trusting but dumb, Crumplezone is often drawn into serving as the muscle to back up the paranoid plotting of his partner Ransack. Huge, powerful and superfast, Crumplezone is sometimes surprised by sudden turns. Not that it matters - he's the biggest guy on the Speed Planet, and crashing straight ahead through whatever gets in his way is his specialty. Twin-turbine ramjets can propel him at nearly the speed of sound, and selective thrust reversal allows him to fire hypersonic, high-explosive slugs nearly 12 miles.

Long exposure to the freezing waste of deep space has irreversibly mutated Scourge. No longer a flame-spewing monster consumed by his passions, he is now a creature of ice and cold. Calculating, cruel, and without mercy, he radiates a freezing aura that causes circuitry to short out, and renders Autobot alloys brittle and easily shattered. His breath, once a raging firestorm, is now a creeping cold that sneaks into joints and mechanisms, destroying from within. The blade of his axe is a razor-sharp shard of supercooled hydrogen ice that leaves a deadly numbness wherever it strikes.

With dark power coursing through his circuitry, his might in battle is nearly unmatched, but Dark Crumplezone is just as dumb as ever. Being dead gave him a mean streak a mile wide, and getting put back together by the otherworldly power of Galvatron gave him the weaponry he needed. What he can't smash through, he knocks down, and what he can't knock down, he pulverizes with his forward plasma ejector cannons. He's too dumb to be a real threat to the Autobots, but Galvatron is content to just set him loose on the battlefield and see what he can blast before the Autobots shut him down.

Awesomely powerful and incredibly intelligent, Dark Scorponok was once widely feared by Decepticons and Autobots alike, until his chassis was destroyed by Megatron. DEMOLISHOR thinks just about as fast as he drives. He has heard rumors about the return of GALVATRON. Quite frankly, he hoped they weren’t true. After working for the DECEPTICON leader for years, he’s been fine without someone bigger and badder than he is to kick him around. Still, given how thick CYBERTRON has been getting with SCRAPMETAL vermin, it’s be nice to have a few more DECEPTICONS around to back him up.

Hardtop has been left on Earth to serve as a spy, tracker and ground-based spotter for the aerial team of Starscream and Thundercracker. There's nothing Mudflap likes more than demolition. A Decepticon agent planted on Earth even before the arrival of the Autobots, he managed to disguise himself well enough to infiltrate the construction industry. He uses his position to see to it that the projects he works on ultimately fail, collapsing into their foundations, their load-bearing beams mysteriously cut through. Still, as much as he enjoys destroying construction projects, he's only too glad to join the fight once the Autobots arrive on Earth!

The idea behind the new paint job is that Ransack GTS is supposed to be a spy. Slip in, do some sabotage, and slip out again. That was the idea anyway. But the pressure is too intense for someone as twitchy as Ransack GTS. He's used to racing headlong into trouble, and then talking his way back out. He may be geared for stealth, but his over-stocked vocal processor has Galvatron considering just removing it entirely.

For most of his life, Runamuck served as a spy and courier for Megatron, carrying messages to Decepticon warriors behind enemy lines. Since his leader's disappearance, though, Runamuck has been pretty bored. Too many Autobots around meant he couldn't get away with much. But now, with the Autobots forced into hiding on Earth, he's having the time of his life tormenting them by striking at vulenerable targets in front of a lot of human witnesses, where the Autobots can't counterattack.

Some might call Shortround obsessed because of the way he follows Thunderblast around, but most Decepticons just call him annoying. Still, he servies his purpose running supplies at speeds up to 250mph over land and sea, and whenever the Autobots show up he freaks out - filling the air with enough super heated plasma to allow other Decepticons to escape in the confusion. He may be a nerd, but at least he's a destructive nerd.

A con man from the day he first came online, Sideways is a master of deception, mixing just enough truth into his lies to keep both his enemies and his allies off guard. One of the mightiest, most straightforward warriors from Planet X, SOUNDWAVE is nonetheless a devastatingly subtle plotter. He prefers not to stab his victims in the back only because he enjoys seeing the look of betrayal in their eyes. Highly skilled in the techniques of espionage, he never enters battle without the knowledge he needs to win. His companion LASERBEAK - equipped with a cloaking device – is able to infiltrate even the most well-guarded facilities.

Unsurpassed in ego or ambition, STARSCREAM is the scheming second-in-command to MEGATRON. With his mastery of the sword, null-ray cannons that can disrupt the functioning of even the most hardened AUTOBOT and a vast array of secondary weapons, STARSCREAM is second only to MEGATRON and OPTIMUS PRIME in power. Though he is outfitted with a sensor package and weapons system nearly identical to his twin brother HARDTOP, SWINDLE scorns long-range tactics. He'd rather charge an AUTOBOT and club him across the visual cluster with his laser rifle than actually use it to blast another robot. SWINDLE is deceptively agile and tough for his size, traits developed over years of picking fights and winning. He's not as slavishly loyal to MEGATRON as his brother; he'll work for anyone who lets him trash AUTOBOTS.

Thunderblast knows that the weakest part of any Autobot is his obnoxious sense of nobility. They're constantly rushing to the rescue, and every last one of them would sooner scrap a basket of Antilian bumble-puppies than blast a female as pretty as she is. She uses that fact to her full advantage; more than one Autobot has fallen first for her charms, and then to her plasma torpedoes. As an agent working on Earth for Starscream, she knows better than to trust any Decepticon, but she finds a kindred spirit in the con-man Sideways.
