Cartoon Overview
Cliffjumper is a member of the Elite Guard and a friend of Sentinel Prime from back when Sentinel Prime was known as Sentinel Minor, acting as a drill sergeant to the cadets at one of the Autobot boot camps. Cliffjumper is probably a good friend of Sentinel since Sentinel confides in him how useless he feels the new cadets are and how he feels Ultra Magnus is past it. We never hear Cliffjumper's reply to that statement.

Later Cliffjumper shows up again to cart away Wasp after he was framed as a Decepticon spy.

Cliffjumper is also seen in "Transwarped". His role appears to be security, as he is on duty at the front area of the Autobot's headquarters on Cybertron when Longarm (Shockwave) hands over the compacted remains of Blurr for disposal (Cliffjumper throws them into a disposal chute). He is also the one Longarm Prime asks for an update when the Spacebridge network unexpectedly shuts down.

Cliffjumper seems to be doomed to be the bearer of bad news, because when he is next seen, he is relaying news of Ultra Magnus' near-fatal run in with Shockwave. He also pops up in "Decepticon Air", to correct Sentinel Prime on who actually captured the Decepticons when Sentinel Prime once again tried to take credit for their capture.

He's also among the crowd of Autobots cheering Optimus Prime and his crew for capturing Megatron, Shockwave and Lugnut, returning the lost Protoforms and Omega Supreme to Cybertron, in the final scene of the final episode.

Powers and Abilities

Cliffjumper's body type is similar to Bumblebee and Wasp, so it is likely that he has Stingers like both of them. Also, given how in Autoboot Camp the cadets are named after their abilities or things they did early in their cadet training, it's possible that Cliffjumper "earned" his name by jumping cliffs, so he may have above-average agility (which again seems to be an ability shared by Bumblebee and Wasp).
