Arcee Cartoon / Movie Information

Voice Actor: Susan Blu
Cartoon Overview
Arcee was an Autobot Intelligence Officer during the Great War. Trapped and damaged while carrying vital access codes (later revealed as the activation codes for Omega Supreme), she met Ratchet who had been sent to extract her. Unfortunately she also met Lockdown, who was being paid by the Decepticons to find her and the information she was carrying at any cost!

Captured and held aboard Lockdown's ship, Arcee was to be interrogated by Megatron, but realizing what that would mean for the Autobot war effort, she asked Ratchet to use an EMP generator on full power to wipe her memory. Carried to safety by Ratchet, she tragically remembered nothing of her own past, not even her name.

During Ratchet's flashbacks in Transwarped, it is revealed that Arcee had foreseen the possibility of having her mind wiped, and had set Ratchet to receive the Omega Supreme activation codes should that occur. Asked to perform open processor surgery on her back then by Highbrow and Ultra Magnus, Ratchet triggered the failsafe and received the access codes himself.

Ultra Magnus also reveals in the flashback that Arcee had been a teacher before she joined the Autobot Intelligence Division and was the original intended partner / mentor for Omega Supreme due to her teaching background.

Arcee reappears in the present day in "This is Why I Hate Machines". With the Decepticons in control of Omega Supreme, Shockwave sets out to recover Arcee, who is believed to still have the access codes to Omega Supreme within her. Ratchet tries to stop Shockwave from kidnapping Arcee, but he fails in part thanks to Sentinel Prime showing up at the worst moment possible.

Later, aboard Omega Supreme, Arcee awakens and says Ratchet's name, suggesting that in spite of Perceptor's assertion that Arcee has no chance of regaining her memory, she has actually done so. "Endgame Part 1" expands on this, having Shockwave tap into Arcee's memory, temporarily restoring her old teaching program, before eventually managing to bring back Intelligence Officer Arcee. Shockwave in his Longarm guise tries to convince Arcee to transfer the activation codes, but Arcee recognizes Megatron and refuses. Shockwave opts for the hard way and instead takes Arcee offline and manually extracts the Omega Supreme activation codes, transferring them to Lugnut. Arcee is then cast aside, her usefulness to Megatron ended, although Shockwave would use her as a decoy in Part 2.

Arcee finally got her memory back in Part 2, when Sari was able to use her ability to communicate with machines to diagnose how to restore Arcee's damaged memory. With her memory restored, Arcee was finally able to complete her original mission and transfer her Activation Codes to Omega Supreme. Having done this, Lugnut's control over Megatron's Omega Supreme clones was broken and they activated a booby trap code left behind by Starscream. Arcee with the other Autobots remained on Omega Supreme when he flew to Earth and took down one of his clones.

Following the conclusion of the battle, Arcee returned to Cybertron, where she presumably caught up on everything that had passed during the time that she had lost her memory.

Before she became an intelligence agent, Arcee was a teaching unit, designation RC-687040
