An outlaw biker who thrives on combat. Must constantly maintain obsessive RPM levels, or risk dramatic loss of strength and speed. Autobots Beware!

Planned for release in Generation 2 was a repainted set of Stunticons, much like the Aerialbots and Combaticons rerelease in 1994. Sadly these never made it to production and only a few samples were ever made, with the exception of Breakdown who became the first Botcon exclusive.

Carries massive amounts of munitions into battle to support Decepticon troops. If Autobots begin to achieve victory, he instantly converts into robot warrior mode to join the fight. Armed with a double-shot missile launcher and crusher claw, he's a formidable fighter despite lack of agility and speed. Titanium / steel composite armor allows resistance to laser fire - but also hinders overall combat efficiency.

Lives to fight, fights to live. Despite lack of strength, manages to spread fear and leave destruction in his wake. Disrupts the electrical flow in Autobot circuitry, causing major malfunctions in their defense processors. Fellow Decepticons respect his efforts, and envy his courage.

Mischievous practical joker and troublemaker. Attempted to land and disrupt recent shuttle launch from Earth - plan thwarted by Autobot intervention (Aerialbots launched a flak attack chasing him away from Kennedy Space Center). Likes to fire missile launcher in front of commercial airliners. Sometimes goes too far - was nearly dismantled after putting sugar in Megatron 's fuel tank.

Another end of line item from Generation 2 that barely saw the light of day, the Megatron ATB was a repaint of the Dreadwing and Smokescreen set. It only got a very limited release into a test market before it was canned.

A further unreleased item from the very end of the Generation 2 line was this gray redeco of Combat Hero Megatron. He was shown in a Sears catalog, and only a handful of early mockups are known to exist.

A criminal combination of brute strength, military cunning, ruthlessness, and terror. Copied Optimus Prime's ingenious example of radically reconfiguring his external structure to current design parameters. Now travels virtually unnoticed in race car mode while undertaking clandestine espionage purposes, but never passes up an opportunity for battle. Megatron has no known weaknesses.

A street thug with a reputation for instigating trouble. Once challenged an order from Megatron, but backed down after nearly having his internal wiring pulled out through his visual receptors. Has no known friends among the Decepticons. Processing circuitry slow - intelligence minimal. Considered to be a rebel without a clue by Autobot enemies. Prowls streets at night searching for victims to intimidate, harass, and eventually destroy with metal-slashing light saber. Easily detected by internally illuminated engine which superheats when he's angry.

Always angry. Extremely combative. Enjoys pushing other Decepticons around, but only if they are weaker than himself. Recon missions are his specialty. Clears battle perimeters of fallen Autobot wreckage in minutes with heavy-duty front end 'super shovel'. Has no fear of engaging an enemy. Uses spinning saw blade to slice open armor like a machete through birthday cake. Fires powerful 'penetrator' missiles that bore through double-thick, armor-plated shielding to assure Autobot destruction.

Rumored to be sympathetic to the Autobot cause - once photographed meeting with Optimus Prime. In reality, a master spy who can't be trusted. He'll buy you a glass of high-octane turbo juice one minute, then steal secrets from you the next. Activates stealth armor to cloak body from Autobot radar. Practices shooting cars with missile launcher alongside his mentor, Dreadwing.

Audio receptors detect lowest possible energy frequencies and sounds - even a fly sneezing! Eavesdrops on Autobot transmissions. Relays their position to Decepticons. Monitors electrical impulses to read minds, then uses intercepted information to blackmail others. Despised by many of his comrades - often a target for retaliation.

One of many end of line items from the end of G2 that never saw the light of day, the Soundwave laser cycle was a repaint of Road Pig. Only a few samples exist.

Speed greatest asset - intelligence greatest liability. Screeches through the sky at Mach 5. Flunked flight school twice, eventually forged himself a passing grade. Escapes Autobot artillery thanks to plasma-powered engines. Powerful missile launcher only reason he has eluded capture...and destruction.

Nitrous oxide drives this battle-thirsty bad boy! He's a terrifying truck cab whose enormous ego forces him to try anything to achieve combat victory, even if it means scratching his personized paint job! The highway is his battlefield and he rams anything on the road, so if you see his headlights...RUN!
