TFW2005.COM PRESENTS BOOMBOX
In 2004, Tony Bacala had an idea for creating an all original character related to the site Transformer World 2005. One that captures the attitude and style TFW2005 is all about. After getting some basic guidelines, John Flores, aka King Starscream came up with a fully transformable "boombox", based on a current age multi-CD changer. And alas, BOOMBOX was born. This page has everything you need to know about him, so read up and enjoy!
PROFILE ENTRY
Name: Boombox
Faction: 2005
Function: Communications
Motto: "Failure is not an option."
Tech Spec Bio: Boombox is a rogue agent on Cybertron providing information to both sides of the Autobot/Decepticon war. He was an up and coming communications expert before the war, building and securing the networks top brass used to transfer the most important of data. When the war begun, he felt shunned, his future ruined, and decided not to choose a side at all, but rather to play them both. Boombox has an Energo-Shield attached to his right arm which can reflect the strongest Energon blasts. His weapon is a computer driven Laser Burst Pistol, which can shoot laser beams at different frequencies depending on the target. His technology skills are beyond match, he can crack the deepest core system and transfer out 9.7 Quadra-Terrabytes per nano-second. Boombox also controls an army of Earth styled CD drones which he stores in his abdomen region, an answer to the dated "Tape" technology used by his arch rivals, Blaster and Soundwave. His current alt-mode is an earth style portable radio system which can produce sonic waves capable of destroying small buildings.
Extended Bio: Coming Soon.
Weapons/Abilities: Boombox is a highly skilled spy. He has the ability to scan and record millions of variations in radio frequencies, making transmissions between faction members impossible to keep private. Boombox can decode all known encryption methods, and is the fastest "hacker" Cybertron has ever seen. It is said he can crack into the core system of any Transformer and wipe their personality clean within nano-clicks. Boombox carries a computer-driven Laser-Burst Pistol, which hones in on the spark frequency of the target and emits several laser beams which put the target in a coma-like state if it lands. On his right arm, Boombox has a Energo-Shield, which can reflect all energon and standard physical ammunition oriented attacks. Boombox also carries "CD-Drones" which he can eject at will. They take the shape of thin bird like creatures with razor sharp edges. They have no individual personality and are controlled solely by Boombox. Each are equipped with a standard Energon beam in each eye. Boombox can control up to 100 of these individually at one time. In alt-mode, Boombox can emit sonic waves from his speakers which cause vibrations strong enough to completely level small buildings.
Weaknesses: Boombox is prone to being consumed by his work. When on a mission, he rarely thinks of anything else and the consequences related. Boombox also has a passionate hatred for Blaster and Soundwave. When these subjects are present Boombox's focus decreases on the task at hand.
Boombox's Blog
Boombox chronicles his adventures on Cybertron, Earth, and all over the Galaxy! Find out what he and the 2005 Network are up to! Are they working for the Autobots, Decepticons, both, or neither? Find out below! Updated whenever Boombox feel's like it.
Personal Datatracks Compilation Initiated Subject Boombox Confirmed | Time (Cybertron): 18 03 411-28800 | Entry Number: 1137660791
In order to keep my thoughts together as things get hectic back on Cybertron, I have decided to keep a journal, or as the Earthlings are now saying - Blog. I will attempt to relay my perspective on whatever is going on at the moment, in the moment. In the future my 2005 Crew and I can look back, mabey see something we normally wouldn't, and use it to our advantage.
I guess I'll get this out of the way:
If you are part of the 2005 Network, and you are reading this, it means I have joined the matrix. Use whatever is in these Datatracks as you see fit. If I met an untimely end, and you want retribution on the slaggin spark that did it, hopefully something will be in here for you to use. Never let 2005 die...
OK, now that that is out of the way, I can get back to business.
Slag this, I got stuff to do. Boombox out.
Autobot Transport Between Alpha and Omega Quadrants Spotted Subject Boombox Confirmed | Time (Cybertron): 19 03 402-28800 | Entry Number: 1137746412
Picked up on an Autobot transport convoy heading between Alpha and Omega quandrants. Seemed full of Energon, heavily guarded. This is the 3rd time this cycle they have used this route without being caught. That old timer Kup and his group of young bucks were in the convoy, no sign of Magnus though. Initiating communication with Shockwave's camp, they will pay nicely for this.
Meeting with Shockwave Camp Completed. Subject Boombox Confirmed | Time (Cybertron): 19 03 407-28800 | Entry Number: 1137746782
Met with a representative of Shockwave today. Name was Galactic Man or something. Looked like a clone, not too bright. Passed him the Autobot convoy information, received a good stock pile of Energon, and several thousand credits good at Decepticon outposts. Weird being back in the Iacon area, haven't been there for a while. Can't believe how devastated it looked. Decepticons attempted a tail to track me back to the base but were unsuccessful.
Heavy Seeker Activity Along the Outer Regions of Cybertropolis. Subject Boombox Confirmed | Time (Cybertron): 19 03 425-28800 | Entry Number: 1137748405
Logged several dozen Decepticon seeker jets making timed rounds around a specific area of suburban Cybertropolis. Haven't seen a showing of aerial dominance by the Decepticons since the early days of the war. Going to investigate in person. Starscream present.
Currently at the outer limits of Cybertropolis, about 10 miles from the guarded area. Not only is there heavy aerial presence, but ground troops are here too. Looks like the Combaticons and the Stunticons, with some random grunts filling in the perimeter. Gotta get in closer to see what's going on.
As I was making my way to the area in question, an Autobot offensive unit initiated contact with the Decepticons. The Aerialbots took to the air along with Powerglide. How they are able to handle themselves against all those seekers I don't know, but it's keeping them busy enough for the ground troops to move in.
The unit is currently being led by Ultra Magnus. Kup, that Hot Rod character, Arcee and the 5 or so Fembots left are leading grunt units against the Combaticons and Stunticons. There is heavy damage going on to the surrounding area and to both sides. Seems like the grunts are focusing around one building about 2 miles behind the front lines. Going to try and slip in using the cloaking technology.
Breach of Decepticon Stronghold Successful. Subject Boombox Confirmed | Time (Cybertron): 19 03 426-28800 | Entry Number: 1137748461
I've entered the guarded Decepticon facility without being noticed. Cloaking device worked well, but depleted much of my Energon supplies. Don't know if I'll have enough to get back out.
There is a large dome like machine being built, the Constructicons are hard at work, with hook playing with a control panel on the side of it. Shockwave is present along with a group of other high ranking Decepticons, can't quite make out who just yet. Gotta link up with the building computers to see if there is any info on what that thing is.
Decepticon Data Decryption Complete. Subject Boombox Confirmed | Time (Cybertron): 19 03 426-28800 | Entry Number: 1137748479
Hacked my way into the Decepticon mainframe at the construction site. Their encryption and firewalls are pathetic. This thing they are building is actually a giant bomb! It's huge, about the size of a small cargo container. That is exactly their plan too, to transport it into an area the Autobots frequent, disguise it as rubble, and set it off remotely. Not a bad idea except this thing is completely unstable. I don't know who designed it, but if they get it out of this place in one piece I'll be surprised. Need to dig deeper to find out where it's set to go.
Bomb Location Decrypted - Not Good. Subject Boombox Confirmed | Time (Cybertron): 19 03 427-28800 | Entry Number: 1137748505
Just my slaggin luck. The planned location the Decepticons have for this giant bomb is within range of my hideout. This means, if they get the Autobots, the jack me up too. I'm gonna have to try and destr........ DAMN. Huge explosion at the front of the complex. Autobots seemed to have broken through, the fight is now taking place inside the hangar. Constructicons have stopped work, are joining the battle. Hmmm. If I could set this thing off now.....
Real Time Thought Recording Initiated... Subject Boombox Confirmed | Time (Cybertron): 19 03 436-28800 | Entry Number: 1137749301
Making way to target ... stealth mode activated ... Energon levels at 39% ... target reached ... Shockwave less than 3 meters away, one level up ... woah - Energon blast from firefight in the hangar almost hit the target ... Autobots must not know what it is, would not be so careless if so ... Energon levels at 31% ... Planting titanium blasters along lower base of target ... charges set ... initiating retreat ... Energon levels at 22% ... Damn it ... stealth mode terminated ... engaging - everyone ...
