To be fair, the only parts of Indiana I've been to are Evansville and Jasper. That shouldn't be representative of the whole state. Or rather, I really hope that's not a good representation of the state. I really hope not. Because, oh God.

I don't boil peanuts in my sandwiches, but we are really goddamn serious about putting vinegar in our barbeque. People get in fistfights if somebody says mustard based barbeque is better than vinegar. Or Duke vs. Carolina.

(I live in a dumb state.)

That's exactly what I was thinking, still can't believe he voiced Jazz and sounds THAT much like Scatman. Great show so far... besides the HORRIbull question.

On the G2 ATB Megs/Starscream thing, weren't those decos more or less released as Beast Wars II BB and Starscream (I think stickers the lone difference, like Megastorm to G2 Megs)? I don't know if they were exact or just really close, but I remember them being quite similar (and Beast Wars II did release those two canceled Autorollers too).

As for the listener question...well, kudos to Vangelus and the bunch for making that as least awkward as possible, but yeah I figured you guys had enough listener questions by now that you could sidestep the weirder/awkward/creepy and/or potentially offensive ones. If you guys still get listener questions (written or verbal) like that, I could go without a listener question for that podcast and just wait until the next one when you can tackle something that's not uncomfortable.

Not sure why that question was so hard to answer? Made a lot more awkward by the hemming and hawing of the TFW crew. :)

The 80's were full of Archi/Stereo-types. I love that Ironhide sounds like a Nebraska Linebacker, Jazz sounds like a groovy 70's cat, Gears sounds like a scrappy New York cop and on and on.

They lend flavor and color to the robots, give them life.

Having grown up in Louisville, I feel I should be defending both Kentucky and Indiana....

But the reason I'm really writing is that, as a Pasadena-local, I was listening to the podcast comments on BotCon this morning, and I'm sorry to break some bad news....

While updating the Survival Guide for the upcoming BotCon, I discovered (remembered, really, but I'd honestly forgotten) that Gelson's (the supermarket across the street from the convention center) closed up shop this summer. They simply weren't doing enough business at that location.

Personally, I think it's because their prices were terrible. I seriously recommend just taking the walk to Ralph's instead. It's a long-ish distance for a walk, but the prices are FAR more reasonable.

Suffice it to say, if/when a new grocery store steps into that space, I'll be sure to update the page with that information. I'm convinced it's a good location. The prices were the problem, IMHO.
