As happy as I am to see Tough Juan as the title picture I'm a little sad it's not Breaking Bad again.

I have green Grand Patriot, because I wanted it to look like a GI Joe toy turned Transformer.

I see no reason that the Optimus Prime armor has to look like some character from the video game. It's a new concept. No problem with that.

"Malek is a cool last name." - Vangelus

Why yes. Yes it is. - "PurdueAV2003" Malek :D

Actually, I've been meaning to do an ancestry search sometime, since Bryce Malek may actually be a distant cousin of mine. His name is one of the reasons I always watched the credits in G1. I'd always point out to my mom, "See! That guy has the same name as us!" :lol

Really? Because it looks like what I think Seth's wrestler voice would look like.

    Table Top Game with Periscope

    Hello Mr. Buzzard,

I just wanted to remind you of the game you were talking about in your latest podcast. The game is called "The Battle of Kalnock".

    Battle of Kalnock, The

I still have my copy of it that I got back in '87. The game was ok but the periscope element to the game is what most people found inovative about it.
I was amazed that someone else knew about the game.

Thanks for the tiny blast from the past and thanks for the great podcast.

Seth, you were watching The Nerdist on BBC America when the guy was pricing the toys and pronounced NECA the same way you do. The price for that Djanjo Unchained figure was ridiculous.

Okay, 2 things; Seth, the toy you were talking about is a kaleidoscope.

And 2; The reason that MLP game got the shaft was because someone did/was going to bring it to EVO, and they thought they were trying to make money from it.

Hey vangelus, great podcast! However you miss pronounced David Yost's name. His last name rhymes with "most" he went to my high school (he graduated long before me) however his mother worked I the office while I was there. Not popular with the students....
    But anyways keep podcastin'

I'm not sure if that's the same game... I seem to remember the mech being a smoother anime style. Or I'm just confusing two different things in my head.

Yes, that was the show. I take it full validation that I am saying it correctly.

    Few random things:

    - Giancarlo Esposito (Gus) is gangbusters during Season 4 of Breaking Bad - he deserved the Emmy nomination he got and perhaps should've won over Aaron Paul (who did win)

    - On that Transformazing Pandora thing that everyone's all up in arms over regarding price (I'm admittedly one of them), I know they've posted stuff on Facebook but this would be an instance where a designer providing info regarding the design, especially what this thing does and why it's so expensive, would go a long way in at least explaining how they ended up at the price they did. Even with the pics we have seen, I'm struggling to see how this is appealing at its current price. The Grand Patriot reference does feel appropriate since I can see this thing sitting there for a while at online retailers, with or without it hitting clearance.

    - I genuinely didn't realize that IDW tour cost anything, let alone as much as it does. Holy crap.

    - Seth should do an entire podcast in Arnold's voice

An episode of WTF without an obligatory Noizemaze shout out? That's a record.

Also, Seth's Arnold voice is awesome. :lol

Microsoft shot themselves in the foot with the conference because they went "TV, TV, TV, SPORTS, SPORTS, SPORTS." and nothing about games. Xbox has lost an advantage they had over the console market by going off the deep end and pandering to, frankly, people who don't often care about TV or sports.

But other than that, people are not getting that pissed off over the conference, but rather the things that have been revealed outside of the conference.

Locking used games behind a pay-wall with one time use passcodes and DRM is one problem. Also, the Xbox One requires the Kinect 2 to always be connected to the machine, and also the system needs to always be online or hook up to the internet once every day to work.

So basically they are doing a bunch of stuff everybody hates and have been very vocal that they don't like. Microsoft basically looked at DRM and when "Hey, you know that thing nobody likes? LET'S DO THAT!"

Sony and Nintendo's stocks have gone up ever since Xbox announced that they won't support used games. Gamespot's stocks went down massively as well. Microsoft has lost an advantage they had, and are now shooting themselves in the foot.
