WTF TFW dudes... I got into LEGO since 2012 December. Actually... LEGO Star Wars to be exact. Although, I have to admit I purchase the LEGO 31007 Power Mech (Green Springer looking triple changer) because of Vangelus influence. I really wish that Mech has knee joints. (><)

On Transformers Legend... my power rating is 7994 (ally me at: aliasangel2005). This game maybe lame but it is as addicting as alcohol.

Been listening on-and-off for the past two days (yay for being sick), and finally got to my question bit! I wasn't expecting to hear an answer until about July or so, with the usual 6-month layover, so it was surprising to hear!

My main idea with the question was how "Equestria Girls" is eliminating the "Pony" bit, what ramifications would be in-store to eliminate the "Transformer" from its counterpart (thus eliminating Pretenders as an option, though a Pretender-oriented show would be pretty cool in its own right). I do think it would work best if it were former Transformers, in the style of Action Masters. As "Human Error" showed, there's plenty of ideas to draw on just from the idea of humanized alien robots trying to fit in.

My personal idea would be to incorporate a bunch of stuff, such as ending up with everyone having to become Pretenders to fight their battle on Earth in secret, only for some kind of malignant force (Yellow Energon, Thunderwing, Red Hats, etc.) to force them permanently into their human forms, while their fellow TFs back on Cybertron are left untouched. I think it could lead to plenty of interesting scenarios!

And thank you for the compliment about my name! I came up with both "Thunderboom" and "Shockpulse" back when I was in 4th grade, watching G1 for the first time (and Armada as it aired), and decided to create my own Transformers. What I ended up with were those two! Later I found out that "Thunderboom" made a really snazzy username, but as I kept finding people using it too (and then a book of children's poetry was released named "Thunderboom") I switched to "Shockpulse", which I later found out is an actual electrical engineering thing!

(And yes, Vangelus, you did get me into Glyos, along with Phil Reed. But I think the recent influx of fans comes from the Armorvor and Monkaa grabbing plenty of new people with different interests from the usual Glyos fare.)

"Blame" Vangelus for Glyos addictions, "Thank" Aaron for Lego addictions

I think the closest you could get to a show about non-transforming transformers is by, as some have said, the use of Pretender shells. In Beast Wars, they had to adopt biological forms to shield them from an overabundance of energon. You could go the opposite route and say that they are so depleted of enegon to the point of near shutdown that both factions are forced to us Pretender tech. This way their robot bodies would be almost in stasis lock, but their conscious minds could still operate. They would have to use their true forms sparingly.
Personaly, I dont care too much for transformers that dont...you know...transform...

Re: the paint on blitzwing, i had a few issues as well. The biggest thing for me was his German monocle face; mine has like a mole under his right eye and his lips are highlighted in black. Guess i got the Goth variant.......
