I don't really do that, but in reference to what Vangelus said about giving existing characters fiction: Prime Skyquake is such a neat toy, I had to give him his own fiction, because he didn't really get much. So I sorta have this Daryl/Merle from The Walking Dead thing happening on my shelf.

here's another animated 3rd party set from Nato-Bot, though it never got a full release unfortunately. I still want to get my hands on one.

On the whole 3rd party cassettes topic, I donno if I'd say I'm surprised this hasn't happen yet, but it'd be kinda cool to see someone try and do a modern take on those cassette combiner guys like Squawkbox and Slamdance

Also, on the whole repurpose thing, I donno if I'd say I'm officially doing it but I tend to pose my PRID Wheeljack next to TFA Rodimus and Blurr a lot and he doesn't look too out of place next to those guys.
