MP10 is a great toy, I think for the retail price he's absolutely worth it. I managed to get mine for 80$ with the TRU sale. It's just a damned shame that not everyone who wants him will be able to get the figure.

It's great to hear that the Gurren Lagann is a good figure, it makes me excited for the ZOE ones they're doing. How big are the Riorobot figures compared to Super Robot Chogokin?

On the whole MB01C Paladin Chaos/Fallen thing, I kind of get the feeling that MakeToys came up with the toy concept first, and then the Fallen homage came after.

Like somewhere in the creative process someone looked at the basic design for the armor/limb's alt and said: "Hey, that alt-mode kinda reminds me of the Fallen...Hmm..."

Mine stands, but because of the loose ankles, I have to make sure its balanced just right. The loose ankles were one of the first things I noticed about the figure fresh out of package.

My gurren lagann is better than the Riobot, though he's not finished yet :p

I am gonna buy the SRC one over the Riobot, since I absolutely love the SRC line and funding this costume and saving for a convention and trying to collect several lines, the cheaper cost is more appealing, though if i can get a good price on the Riobot one i'll get it if i got the cash

I think a fun Botcon set would use the idea Boardwise had, use a Car and Jet Vehicons repainted as Fastlane and Cloudraker from G1. They could fit with Classics or Prime and would be completely awesome. I also think instead of making Hardhead, they could use the Warpath mold and make him G1 Treadshot, the Action Master looks so much like that robot mode, and I think he was sorta based on a gun in g1, so a tank would work for me. Also, i'm just a sucker for upgraded Action Masters.

as far as Marky Mark, he was fantastic in The Departed, The Fighter and Ted. I think he's a great actor, and he can be the funny guy or the serious guy. He's definitely had some flops in there, but I think he'll add a cool aspect to the TF franchise. I just wish they'd say who's writing the story, maybe give us a plot outline or something, but also i guess it's a bit early to really have that information released to the public.
