So, you answer three PrimeTime questions and you still forget mine?! Vangelus, how could you, you said it was in the queue! *Whines*

Nah, I'm sure you'll get to it (hopefully before it becomes irrelevant). Great podcast again, guys.

I think the line is just Optimus using flowery language as he wants to do.

Also, as pointed out in hard knocks, so you may already be aware of this, Smokescreen was in stasis for most of the war.

Exactly. And it was weird and over dramatic. :)

I found primes statement of alpha trion speaking to him from across the ages still fit well in the context of what we know of alpha trion as Optimus Primes friend and smokescreen's Mentor. The only weakness to this is It helps to assume that the journey the autobots took to reach Earth took centuries, before earth became their 5+ year battleground.

I guess I'm just used to the fiction having a large gap of time between Cybertron falling and the fight on Earth. It may not necessarily be true for Prime. Out of the past does hurt this notion a bit with arcee and cliffjumper easily leaving across a spacebridge. But only after knowing Optimus Prime had found Earth with coordinates ready to go. So cliffjumper and arcee may have been some autobot resistance forces on a dead decepticon captured cybertron.

Alpha Trion is created as one of the Original 13> Alpha Trion serves in the Hall of records during cybertrons pre war age> Alpha Trion meets Orion Pax and recommends him to the council to be a Prime> The war with the Decepticons begins with Optimus Prime joining the fight as the last Prime> Smokescreen is assigned to protect Alpha Trion at the Hall of Records> Alpha Trion records the message in the star saber and sends the Artifacts to Earth> jump a large span of time to the present and Optimus Prime finds the star saber and activates the message.

If the similarity between the epic shots of Unicron and Alpha Trion are intentional. Then I think its to prelude something similar to unicron. Last Season was Darkness and this Season we are going to end with Light. The Omega Keys, in the Omega Lock, taken to Cybertron to awaken the creator. Primus.

Hehe, you're just noticing this about Prime Optimus Prime now ? :D
It's not Cullen's fault, it's more the writers/Hasbro's. Since they brought Cullen back into the role of Optimus they've turned him into an Epic Speech Machine. Which works in some instances, but for others he comes off as you said, weird and over dramatic.

Optimus Prime in G1 (which, let's not kid ourselves, is what they've been trying to emulate since bringing Cullen back) had a bit of an edge to him. And not in a "movie Prime is G-ddman insane" sense, but more in a "Prime wasn't always making grand proclamations and could get gritty when he needed to" sense.

Personally I think they need to lift some of their restraints on what Prime "can" say (they don't want him using contractions for some weird reason) and let Cullen act. If that happened I'd bet Prime would sound a lot more natural.

I have a question: Did any of you guys take A3's relic statement as he sent every item that they have found to Earth, or just the Iacon relics?

thinking back. I guess the season one artifacts have other explanations.

Well there were the Ancient wars on Earth with the buried dead Transformers and skyquakes tomb from the beginning of season 1. These battles were fought for the planets energon resources. So the Energon Harvester is'nt an Iacon relic, but a tool for gathering large quantities of Energon that can be used as a weapon.

The immobilizer I think is from a crashed decepticon warship though. So definitely not an Iacon relic.

looking at season 2. Did all the IAcon relics come out of those cybertronian storage jars? If so then I guess someone is trying to make it a bit clearer.

I hope they use the polariny gauntlet again sometime. I really like the way it looks.
