I think they mean they're tired of Macguffins in general, but the majority of them happen to be Cybertronian
I completely agree with the podcast crew on the Human Factor; both this and Nemesis Prime felt more like hijinks than a legitimate endgame for Mech. I still agree with the crew on Legacy, but to a lesser degree. I felt it worked more than i think they did, but its impact was still diminished.
