Uhh... Digital Designer still exists. Sure, you can't buy things anymore, but there is now an unlimited selection and colors of pieces.

Hey Vangelus! If you want to get the first Borderlands and don't mind it on pc, keep an eye on steam. During the summer sale it was available with all dlc for I think seven bucks, aka less than one of the dlcs on Xbox. Wouldn't be surprised if it goes down again during a fall or Christmas sale.

Not sure if this is just me or whatnot, but I keep getting an error a couple of minutes into the mp3, so off to the m4a!

Edit - Don't think I have a way of opening that & the Zune thing doesn't work for whatever reason, so I think I'm off to bed. This recording (and by extension Jeffery Combs) will have to wait until I have time to google. :)

That lego Snapdragon...man I keep hearing everyone talk about lego. I've been meaning to get some lego, but when I was getting into Kamen Rider and 1/6 scale figures I had to cut something, and that was lego

    EDIT: Dildotron...seriously? :redface2:

On the subject of precision dice...

A couple years ago now I ordered a set of unpainted transparent red Game Science dice for their supposed ability to be more precise than others. Now, I'm a man of science. All my friends say things to the effect of, "that die is unlucky" or some other humanization of them. I went out of my way to get the hard statistics of all my d20's. I rolled each 100 times and found the average. For the ones I used most often I rolled them 1,000 times. The average for the dice ranged from 8-12 or so.

Now the Game Science dice I received had no mold issues that I needed to adjust. They seemed to be exactly what I was promised. So I put it to the hard cold test of science.

    I rolled that d20 1,000 times. It's average roll was 10.

That to me is pretty definitive. I won't refuse to use another die but if I have them on me, I use my Game Science dice.

On the subject of refusing to let players use unpainted dice, wow. I'm super glad I haven't had any DMs (nor been that type of DM) require that. I don't cheat and I trust my players not to cheat. No one at my table ever really pays attention to what someone else rolls because it's so unimportant. But hey, each table is different I guess and none are the "right" way of doing it.

My issue on readability just came about because it could just spank the flow at the table. It really started more with the other players getting upset at the way that it slowed things down and got frustrating with one player with dice that were that bad. I just took the role of big bad and made it a house rule to make them all give me the stink eye rather than him.

    Broad shoulders; I have them.

Okay, I guess that makes sense. But wouldn't it have been easier to request the player use different dice?
