I'm holding out hope that the 5% chance of going to NYCC jumps back up to 50%, depending on how the film goes. :D

    Generation One Protectors represent!

Glad to hear this brief little supplemental, glad to squeeze out a couple bucks from a ridiculously tight budget to back this, and good to learn a bit more about Phil! I've read Battlegrip a few times but I'm not a regular, and had no idea about his background with Steve Jackson Games.

I need some cans of compressed air badly...

That was a really great interview. It was awesome hearing from Philip. He does such a great job over at BattleGrip. Some of the next pay check will be going to Transforming Collection. Keep up the great work Phil!

Thanks. Vangelus was fun to chat with and kept steering me back to the topic. I'll try to do my best to make the book fun to flip through.

Great to hear! Maybe we can reach the hardcover goal before the project ends.

    Enjoyed this podcast very much!

I all of a sudden need $600 to purchase Hercules after looking up that stop-motion video....

You're not supposed to stare directly at the video! It's dangerous to look at Hercules in photos, and that video can make your bank account cry.

Is it a bad sign to get a "Dear John" letter from your wallet?

    Vangelus,

Nice episode. You should do more interviews. You've got a knack for them.

I'm interested in this book, i may end up funding this to get a copy. seems like it'll be a fun read and show some good images. will the book be covering specific years that 3rd party toys have existed, or will it jump around from older to newer? i've not yet finished the podcast, so if that's answered, i'll hear it today or tomorrow most likely.

It will jump around. The current plan is to organize by manufacturer.
