With the quantity of weapons they have it could easily be sold as a stand alone $30-$50 weapons pack like the popular gears of war sets. If that is the case the figures themselves only come to $60-$80, well within other current figures. ![]() www.odeean.com YouTube Flickr deviantART |

I don't see any purpose in them doing the colors in anything but club comic accurate with white and red, if the purpose is to homage that toy they might as well do it right. I think you have to remember that the Constructicons have only ever appeared in two color schemes in fiction... green/purple and white/red. Any other combinations has never had fiction behind it. I think one of the real reasons Neo toys have a lot of vehicle parts in them is in Japan beast toys were not popular, so they were trying to give the vehicle fans something to play with. |

As a fan since G1 I welcome anything that's different in the Transformers Fandom. New color schemes, new designs, anything fresh and distinct. That being said I have never read the club fiction, and don't own a single Botcon figure. However I love the Perseus redeco. I think it really shines and actually looks better than the original Hercules (which I also don't own). I also welcome a sixth member of Uranos! If anything that makes me want it MORE. Cause, you know, its different. I'm more focused on engineering and how a toy stands on its own merits than how slavish it is to its reference point. Just my two cents! |
