I think the sword and gun go in the same spot on his back because if you look closely, the sword is also a bayonet. I think it's a case of him pulling it off of the bottom of his cannon.

Also they never said that an Autobot would die before the middle of the season, just that a character would. So Breakdown would be said death

Yearning for Soundwave's voice to be an undefined horrific depths of hell type thing is just setting oneself up for disappointment in my opinion. They wouldn't do that in what is primarily a kids show. Plus on a personal level I don't want that. To me his G1 (or something reminiscent of it) is as iconic as Optimus turning into a truck.

I also disagree that there should have been a line about Starscreams "garage door opener". It wasn't necessary to be brought up. He opened it, then got captured, then in the armor, then under water. There was never a point where he could use it. If he tried to use it at the end then the Harbinger would have become flooded. Scream had to walk to dry land before using again.

As for the humans there are always research teams in the arctic. It looked very much like a research station. I imagine it was populated by scientists who were requested to vacate. They had the armor because they found something in the ice. They hadn't yet figured out what it was because it was still in the ice. Plus since the tracks were visible from it's original location it seems likely they just got it back to base. I doubt a scientists first reaction upon finding an object would be to call the CIA so Fowler would know. Had it been there for a few days, sure I can see Fowler finding out.

But yeah I agree with you guys for the most part. This was a great episode. Keep up the entertaining work with the podcasts guys!
