The kind of voice I'd like Soundwave to have, is a bit of the G1 vocoder, but make it sound super creepy by adding lots of static. I'd also have him struggle to speak, and visibly cause him some slight pain. That would give the impression that he really hasn't spoken a single word in a very long time.

I just assumed Fowler was giving the order to evacuate to the guys in the base, "get off that rock" or whatever. But That does look like Bulkhead's shoulder.

To me the Apex Armor was kinda like Iron Monger, but I do get the Juggernaut vibe Aaron was talking about. All and all it was an okay episode.

That was a showdown, not a Mexican standoff. Mexican standoff has the guns already out.

Other than that, I can't think of anything more to say on this episode.

I came here to say this. A Mexican standoff is what happens at the end of Reservoir Dogs. Everyone's guns are pointed point blank at everyone else, and if one person fires they all die.

Also: the standoff scene wasn't a bunch of "anime tropes" it was a bunch of "classic western tropes" that were likely later copied by Anime shows.
