Speaking of Botcon, I decided to take this photo because GogDog was my influence in getting this:

So worth the $40 I spent on the set, probably one of my favorite purchases from Botcon, now Luka has her own gang of pets

Don't get your hopes up. They only take big-name moderators or Australians in the show. Your chance of getting on is as high as my chance.

Also, something tells me Fanboy and Chum Chum won't fair well against Prime.

A lot of the big-time revierer-types seem to have at least a main page on Tv Tropes. Seems to be a measuring stick for internet fame.

As an addition to the Fansproject discussion, what do you guys think of this?

I don't know how willing I would be to subscribe to FansProject. I buy everything I can from them but to give all my real details to them is asking a bit too much trust.

As for the evolution of 3rd party I just can't see it happening. When I spend, I am buying a character. I don't care who makes it. Hasbro, FansProject, TFC, its all the same to me. Creating a fiction that hooks me in is going to be a lot harder than a few pages of comic with each toy.

To compound that there is the age problem. I feel like a lot of what I like is locked in from my childhood. I just don't know if I am capable of forming the kind of deep attachment to a new fiction that is enough to make me spend money on it. TF is already locked in.
