Off topic, but speaking of the Kennedy assassination, my great-uncle was one of the cops that escorted him from the airport that day. You can see him in a few of the famous pictures.

So with Vangelus continually referring to this "Hasbro legal" in regard to the nerf issue, I feel like I need to correct some glaring misinformation.

"Hasbro legal" is not a separate legal entity; it's merely the legal division of Hasbro, and does not exist independently. Any executive decision made is through Hasbro, not its legal division, which fulfills an advisory rather than a decision making role.

On that note, whilst the hypothetical evil executive at Hasbro legal that Vangelus keeps bringing up is a nice boogeyman, she does not exist. Whilst well paid, in house corporate lawyers are absurdly castrated in the corporate heirachy, with even the head of the legal division having little, if any executive decision making power.

And if anyone is wondering how I know this, I'm a lawyer, this is the industry I work in.

I feel my breakdown for the sake of simplicity of laughs and dissemination has been slightly misinterpreted, as I certainly don't think Hasbro Legal is some alternate and entirely un-overseen entity.

That said, I also had a slightly different conversation with someone who also told me they posessed similar credentials.

A main point I came to realize by the end of Sunday, however, is moreso that of ensuring that the design and engineering folks are not held directly responsible for the choice of means of pursuance of legal actions and IP protection.
