    Presidential Mosnters hmm...
I'm not sure how I feel about including people that were not actually president. A few of the more popular vice-presidents might be ok, but I think even that is cutting it close.

Also, I've been tempted by Bakugan many times, but have never given in.
They're tiny transforming things, and that appeals to me.

I'm surprised you guys didn't mention Device Label Blaster or the recent SDCC reissue being good choices for Buster Jones to sign.

That talk about leveling a soldier to level 20 and promoting them in the intro automatically made me think about Fire Emblem.

Pssh, Krogan Soldiers have nothing on Krogan Sentinels anyway!

Also, it makes me glad to hear that I am not the only person who was unreasonably excited about foam Runamuck. :D

According to the Bakugan FAQ, the pieces to the combiner guy can be used as normal in the game, but the combined mode can't and is just there for coolness. As for the locking issue, a lot of Bakugan have parts that can be moved past where they stop from the spring action and into a locked position.

Ok, since I'm probably the only one on these boards who has any sort of Bakugan knowlege, the bakugan you got was Helios Maximos, at least I think that was his name, I might be misremembering it, anyway I prefer Dragonoid Colossus, anyway don't watch the anime Vangelus, it's very "to sell toys" on the anime, they started off using the actual game rules, then around season 3, the writers I guess just said "eh forget it" I don't own any of the combiners, but I do own 4 bakugans, and yeah, it does get annoying having to figure out how to transform them back into balls, if my phone weren't about to die I could tell you about the fiction behind that combiner ...wow I feel so ashamed now...

Haha well, joke all you want, but pretty much every time I'm in Toys R Us expecting the cards to change as I look at the same ones multiple times over, there's a frantic mother with like 3 kids, where at least 1 of em is freaking the fuck out over Bakugon, and some of that stuff looks pretty cool. Like, I still don't think it rivals Transformers or Yugioh (my current crack addictions), but even though I still cant make sense of the show, I can understand where the fandom's coming from.

Speaking of Yugioh, probably the best fiction to ever come outa that is called the "Yugioh Abridged", and it's basically a running parody of the tv show.

Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged is awesome. Trust us on this one. Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged actually made me dig up all of my Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and now when my friend discusses Yu-Gi-Oh I actually give an eff. XD

that said, i will NOT be surprised if you dont mention it because its just another bb repaint and therefore not worthy of its own news story, only being lumped in with others

TJ, that Vader lightsaber you bought comes packaged in demo mode, which is why you keep getting the same sound sequence all the time. Look between the black ridges near the butt end of the hilt for the one silver rectangular piece that can be shifted up or down, that's your mode select switch, which has On, Off, and Demo positions.

How would you be expected to know this? Apparently, Hasbro thought it'd be fun to sandwich the instruction sheet between the outer box and the tightly-wedged inner cardboard, where you'd never see it unless you decided to rip your box apart. Neat!

Hope this helps, so you can get the full intended enjoyment from whacking it on your bed :D

Nope. It's the On position, it's not the Demo sequence I was referring to. I know what I'm doing when I wha... know what, no, not finishing that line.
