Listening to the off topic what we got this week was a bad idea on an empty stomach.

Sorry Vangelus, I have to go with Medium. Asking for medium rare at any restaurant around here results in a bloddy mess. And Medium Well is tasteless char

Still in the process of listening to it, but I think it must be the part of me that likes to Champion the Underdog that says the more I hear people dislike the PRiD stuff, the more I like them better than the few FE versions I have. I vastly prefer my PRiD BB and Arcee over their FE counterparts.

    EDIT:

Omegus, regarding the Junkheap Generations figure...? Transform him back into the bike. I bought him, and have NEVER transformed him to robot mode. I opened him, and immediately put Wreck-Gar on him and it has been thus ever since.

Aaron? Regarding the steak? Testify. Medium-Rare (more towards the rare end) all the way. I like it to moo on my plate, please.

Not eaten Beef since all the safety scandals make me think eating it will drive you crazy some decades later with a prion infection.

This has probably been mentioned already, but ratchet's blades store under the vehicle, at least in alt mode. I don't think he has an official spot in robot mode, tho. They peg onto the door panels underneath. Also, medium rare ftw.

XD Sorry Vangelus, it was not me who defended your Medium-Wellness. I'm swinging with the Medium-Rare to Rare crowd. Bloody is Better. :D

It's a real bummer that the Gutto Kuru Buster/Hydra rumor started flying around, completely due to the fact that people don't know how to fact check.

Well, looks like I'm going to be the "Blue Rare Guy" here! When I grill at home, I usually go for rare-med. rare, but if I'm back home in KS and cooking meat from a steer my sister personally castrated, I'll do a 1-2 minute seer on each side on a nice hot grill (500 degrees F plus) then let them rest for several minutes. You end up with a nice gradient of pink to purple on the inside, and it just melts in your mouth.

I won't be at BotCon, but I would chip in for Vangelus to take a blind taste test at TFCon. If he can honestly say he prefers shoe leath...I mean, medium well after that, then maybe I should stop watching those toy reviews before deciding on some of my purchases! ;)

(Note: In reality, Vangelus plays very little into my toy purchasing decisions. Sorry to disappoint.)

I hope Vangelus and the podcasters see this in time for the discussion on Knockout.

Unicronic on the boards here has a Knockout and played with the transformation. His end results looks SOO much better than every picture shown of him. I just wanted to try and pass this along to the podcasters.

Best Chicago Deep Dish that ever existed was My Pie. Now that My Pie is gone, there is no point to Chicago Deep Dish.

Honestly, steak isn't that great no matter how you cook it. It's chewy and and tastes like generic meat flavor. Much rather have a good burger or big juicy turkey leg than generic slab o' meat.

Plus if you have KO crossing his arms or something, he doesn't look as much like a sandwich board.

I have to say, I used to be a 'medium well' sort of guy. Then I got some class and moved to 'medium rare' My father liked his steak still mooing though, and that's just disturbing.

What can I say, even I make mistakes. (It was me who flagged it for the news coverage, only read what was then a couple of posts in the thread, with no access to an online translator at the time. In retrospect, should have held fire until I had access to the translator, but hindsight is a wonderful thing)

The real bummer is that we aren't getting those two really, I'd love a set of them!

It wasn't your fault. Just an unfortunate series of events that caused a lot of broken hearts.

It is foolish to argue about steak consumption with a Hoosier. We may not be texas but we have a LOT of cows! Medium is the most you can cook a steak before it loses all flavor. Anything more is just charcoal. :)
