It'll be cool this year when Megatron takes it, and even if he loses it'll be cool, because we'll have tonnes of both bitching & riding material to run with regardless. :)

The way Vangelus feels about Wheeljack is pretty much how I feel about Minvera and Swindle.

Chairman Kaga is much more flamboyant than Chairman Jimmy Lee. And he has way better theme music, even if he did steal it from Backdraft.

What's with the Wheeljack hating? He had a well defined character in G1, he's been in every G1 inspired comic since then, now he's in Prime with a personallity swap sure but hey, it's still recognisably Wheeljack. He had an Alternator/Binaltech figure, a classics figure and looks to be a character with sticking power.

I've more of a problem with Minerva (and that's coming from someone who has watched Masterforce and Victory that's the only fiction where she has been seen) She had one official Toy back in the day and wasn't exposed to the wider Western audience until the Metrodome DVD release of Masterforce about 5 years ago. At this point I would say that Ironfist has probably got better exposure to the fandom than Minerva at this point.

I'm not saying that Minerva doesn't deserve to go into the Hall of fame at some point but I do think Wheeljack has got better credentials for nominations. Not that I voted for either of them, Swindle bought my vote :D .

Gogdog, I'm certainly not a radicon. But I took a silver metallic sharpie to my Megatron. I think it came out decent. I'm sure someone skilled with an airbrush could make him look fantastic with his texturing.

Ok, I need a silver sharpie. But I've gotta get that figure first. :p

It actually took about 8 of them. :lol  They kept running out of ink. I didn't realize that when I started. By the time I figured it out I had to bite the bullet and buy more sharpies.

The difference between the Prime incarnations is that Wheeljack had one single episode- and half of the screen time it wasn't really him. Arcee has been in nearly every episode and has had a ton of character development.

Plus one of them survived the '86 movie. :D

    Nice :thumb

I get that. I guess my point was that a lot of peoples love for Arcee seems to be for the character in the Prime show that is currently running and has only had one full season. Personally I don't think one season warrants a character going into the hall of fame. Some people might say that she was a G1 character also and that's why I made my point about people not caring much about her G1 form until recently. I'm 34 years old and have been a Transformers fan my whole life. I don't ever recall there being much of a fanbase for G1 Arcee (other than a few fanboys here and there).

I'm not saying anybody is wrong for voting for her. And I'm not trying to justify Wheeljack either.

Like I said, I voted for Bulkhead. It would be very hypocritical of me to tell someone they shouldn't have voted for Arcee.

I wasn't too suprised by Wheeljack's performance in the HOF. He's always been a fan-favorite because of his G1 cartoon version. But I feel like I wasted my HOF vote, because I voted for Swindle before it became obvious that he didn't need any help. I failed you, Sky-Byte! Next time I'll know to hold off on voting until closer to the end...

:lol  Oh wow. Good thing those of us who work for a bank aren't sensitive.

If it weren't for the fact that people's real money is being affected, it would be hilarious how many rapid-fire bad things have happened to FunPub in the last few months. It's like a Three Stooges short where you need goofy music in the background and the sad trombone sound effect during every scene.
That's exactly it though...Sky-Byte was the standout character in an otherwise mediocre show. I watched RID solely to see him, and several other people in the thread mentioned they did this too. He was a fun, quirky, original villain who shined much brighter than the rest of his era.

The episode finally popped up on I-Tunes, so it's a definite download.

Very well done episode. I'm glad most of WTF@TFW are going to be Swindlites...

Also, Gog saw FE at his Target? Going by his line of "Prime, RiD, and Botshots..."

Went back to K-Mart the other day and all they had left of Prid was Bumblebee so things seem to be back to normal.

Yup, the texturing remains. Also, retinas, yay.

There's a growing number of Bumblebees in North America? That's like the opposite of how The Happening began.

Victory says they both did. :D

I don't actually give half a crap about Apple, but I'm amused by the effort you've put in to spell iTunes so oddly.

Megatron's head is a bit small for its size, so I'm not surprised I never noticed the retinas. That is awesome.

Definitely need to track down a few for myself. I'm actually somewhat eager about "cusomizing" my Megatron.
