I really like the character analysis of Breakdown from this episode, makes me see him in a whole new light and more interesting.

You know, I was expecting the Synthetic Energon to come as well, but not in the ways you were expecting. I though Ratchet was going to use that to super charge the Ground Bridge. They might have to do that in the future, because I doubt Megatron will allow for such little security at their Space Bridge location again.

That's actually a great idea. All the power with none of the crazy.

Great comments about June being a very atypical cartoon parent. She's a suprisingly well-written character, and I think she adds a lot to the show. Transformers always have human kids as sidekicks, without ever touching on the fact that their parents probably wouldn't be thrilled about the danger they're constantly being put in. June adds that realistic touch without getting in the way of the story.

As for the Synth-Energon, I'm more curious about when the Decepticons will start using it. It'll be disappointing if the teaser with Knockout finding a few drops was just a throwaway scene that won't have any repercussions. That would be very G1, and so far this show has mostly avoided that cartoonish way of writing things. If the Cons have access to it they'll use it one way or another, and if not, there better be a good explanation why they pass up such a powerful weapon.

:(  Poor Starscream. He snuck into the Nemesis to steal food, then he ends up losing a lot of blood on top of failing his supply run. Now he's in worse shape than before...unless Ratchet gave him a transfusion to replace the energon he lost, which is doubtful considering that he seemed happy to walk away and let SS die. Starscream may be finding himself in trouble soon, since TFs have such a specific type of food that can't just be found or made anywhere.

I can't remember if it was this episode you guys mentioned it, but I have an explanation as to why there was no horde of zombies on Cybertron. Since they were powered by the blood of Unicron, his defeat left them as lifeless husks. Notice how Dark Energon hasn't been a factor since the end of season 1? It's powerless now.
