News Credits: 6 | No one tooks sides on the political issue, at least as a whole. I never once expressed my political views, neither on the show nor in twitter. My issue was how they responded to people being offended. I can promise you that Seth and I don't share many political views, and he even said that making jokes about the other side was possibly just as offensive to others as the first joke was. My personal beliefs had nothing to do with this issue, it was how they reacted to the crap storm they started. I'm sure that all of us have our own, varying beliefs. But I can assure you that WTF has never taken a side on the issue politically. In fact, at least with our team, we haven't even really discussed the issue at all. And that's mostly because we talk about toys and therefore have no real desire or reason to bring it up. It's the same reason I don't really want that in my news from Botcon. Hence why I unfollowed them. ![]() ![]() **My Flickr Page of Mostly Toy Photography** Last edited by GogDog; 12-13-2011 at 11:20 AM.. |

I didn't think any of us had taken a heavy and proactive side or stance on a political movement itself in this episode, to my recollection. Sucks if it came off that way! Between Christmas now and his Birthday in early January, there's plenty of opportunity to get them to him. Avatar art by Shum. I got him all 6 of the regular bots, as well as their individual human partners. The only stuff he doesn't (or rather won't) have is the Fire Station Prime and BB playsets, as well as the Cyber-Stomper Chase and Heatwave. |

He looks cool in the packaging, but I've not actually taken him out yet. Like I said, they're going to be Christmas/Birthday gifts for my youngest, so I'm not allowed to play with them... | Maxipads, attack! Join Date: Oct 2011 Posts: 338 | First, thanks to both you and Vangelus for responding. The thing that stuck out to me was the line "I don't like to see the Occupy movement maligned as much as they are." I don't know, to me it seemed like the podcast took a stance. You guys do excellent work, and part of why I enjoy the podcast so much is because you do a fantastic job keeping the discussion of toys focused on toys, and you don't let politics enter it. It just got a little to political this week for my liking. It's entirely possible, and in fact probable, that I'm making to much out of it, but it was just something I had to get off my chest, as a listener and fan. Thanks again to both of you for responding. Quote:

News Credits: 3 | Rescue bots are really cool, but I do want something else in flip changers/activators. Cyberverse supreme class Flip changers? check this video out to see all the rescue bots change: http://youtu.be/1RXpHdIoJFo Those flip changeing Machine wars and RID jets were the best. Very expressive poseing for the time, but the weapon storage and two part gun gave them a specialist edge. ![]() popculturehero on Youtube Feedback Grimwings Collection Last edited by Grimwing; 12-13-2011 at 01:21 PM.. |

Only 1½ hour drive for me. 2. Saturday (the 28th) is my 29th birthday. 3. Of course, the Con itself. 4. On a more personal note, I went to the Botcon in '05 that was in Frisco. It was a good experience, because it allowed me to relax and decompress after going to my Grandfathers funeral the previous day (Thursday I believe). While I enjoyed that immensely, it will be nice to go and (hopefully, God willing) not have anything like that weighing on my mind. Anyway, only listened to the first 30 minutes or so, so looking forward to the rest. Computron34 on Twitter. |
