I have a feeling you're going to be a smug guy this episode for your predictions.

Sweet, I was hoping this would show up soon. No session with the spoiler zombies on Rise Part 2 though?

Everyone that's not Aaron should really get around to reading Exodus.(and then Exiles)
It was funny listening to you guys try to extrapolate stuff about Optimus and Megatron's past from the flashback when it is all laid out in the book.

Also, It is Alpha Trion that's still active on Cybertron in the books. I'm not completely sure what the figures on the sides of the council room were, but I think they're either statues or council members that look vaguely like/are descended from some of the 13.

From the stuff I've seen the High Moon games seem like they're the ones playing loosest with the source materiel. Probably to make the games appeal more to the nostalgic mainstream.

For some reason, Gog's epic "GOD DAMMIT!" still has me chuckling to myself.

Great job as always guys. Really enjoying these as usual. Yes, how about a bookclub on Exodus (and maybe Exiles with it) during the month long break before season 2. Loving the predictions and I'm really hoping that some of it turns out to be true. I really don't want to see the potential of this cliffhanger wasted. I really want to see some good character interaction next season. And I agree with Omegus that Prime Arcee is easily one of the best female characters of the franchise so if she dies I would be extremely disapointed, though I do like the "no one is safe" mentality in terms of how that liberates the writers.

Personally, I was a bit disappointed that the various surviving weapons the Autobots spent a significant amount of the season gathering were not used, even when the entire planet was on the line.

But the actual happening made up for it with high quality.

What I'm hoping to see in the second season is MECH finding out and possibly exploiting the fact that there's a giant robot space god in the Earth's core to further their whole technocratic agenda, maybe after the first few attempts with Chimera, whatever form that takes, fail. (As they narratively will have to.) Because MECH seems to have the resources to find out about a trio of skyscraper sized robots, no matter how remote a part of Nevada they may have been fought in.
(Although, to be fair, I guess they did miss the giant half a spaceship from Partners)

Re: the Kill Raf plans. When I first watched One Shall Fall, my thoughts flipflopped between "damn, they have so little for Raf to do that they're killing him" and "okay, so Raf hasn't done anything since like the 7th episode, they must be revealing that he's such a non-character because he's secretly a ROBOT, and that's why he understands Bumblebee, and this Dark Energon poisoning is going to expose him"

At least now we can be reasonably sure why Starscream had to tip toe around Soundwave. It wasn't that Soundwave was a rules lawyer, but that he could, and likely did kick Starscream's... aft. If Starscream crossed the line, Soundwave would likely have just outright murdered him.

Also, I think Soundwave's position in the Decepticon hierarchy is fairly clear cut now that we know he's one of Megatron's oldest confidants. Don't look at the Decepticons as a military but as a monarchy. If we consider Megatron to be a dictator akin to the likes of Genghis Khan, then Soundwave's standing beyond the military's chain of command makes sense. He might not be a ranked general, but as an adviser to the king, he stands above even generals.

That and he's pretty much one of the top fighters behind Prime and Megs.

I've left the option open to Aaron and Omegus to cover part 2 if they feel like doing it.

Nothing felt rushed during the recording! :)

You know, I've been thinking the same thing myself for awhile now. "Why do they lament no time for Bookclub, especially when Prime is a goes on break for a few weeks. It'd be perfect to know out a Bookclub or two during the time". Mind you, the only reason I didn't want to say something crass because I know Vangelus, the odd team, and the even team have lives and do other things online besides TFW.

Cool. I doubt there could be spoiler zombie brain chewing now due to the fact part 3 has aired on the Hub, but I'd still like to hear their thoughts.

I not only still haven't read Exodus, but I forgot to pack it with me when I did my one-year change of location. :(

I know that I'm not lamenting that we skipped over a Pt. 2 recap with me because Gog and Vang covered so much of what I would have said, and you can't go back, you can never go back. So much of what was held on edge with 2 got covered with 3. The Key, what Megs was going to do, Unicronny goodness... To go and try to talk about 2 without foreknowledge of 3 would be a rough read. To talk about 2 and 3, well we did that with this show.

Woops. Now, don't take my comment as a proverbial gun held to you head about getting it shipped to you or anything. I was just expressing that I thought the oppurtunity was there.

Fair enough. I figured at this point a second helping of part 2 would be moot since part 3 had aired, but was just curious since Vangelus had mentioned the possibility.

Vangelus, how in HELL did you notice Soundwave turn behind Airachnid!? That was such a suttle turn... I watched the episode again at that part and I was thinking "that was the turn?..."

There are so many options open right now, they really have not let us down yet in the grander sense. I am VERY glad the are expanding the scale of the show and getting off Earth, if even every few episodes.

Granted, since all the fun artifacts seem to have landed there gonna be interesting to see what the happen across while traveling the stars. Hope one of the high priorities is to find a way to revive Cybertron.

I think if anyone's having issues with the video encodes not displaying fullscreen.

Try using the media player VLC (the one with the traffic cone icon).

Make sure it's ticked "Scale" and then select the aspect ration 16-9 and then got to fullscreen - then you should get the video with no borders - the stretch is not really noticable as the side borders were not very big anyway.

It might be handy to do this too if your extending your Computer output onto a bigger TV.

If your watching it on an Xbox or such then I can't help you.

But there's probably similar functions in media player too... I just like to use VLC as it has some nice features like image capture and excellent slow mo and speed controls not to mention it also plays different region DVD's if you open things with it instead of the default player.
