I think that's the piece Vangelus was talking about. That's been there.

I'm glad you guys like June Darby. I think she's very well written for a mom character, and there's some potential for her as a regular if the writers choose to go there. I can see Ratchet liking her a little better than the kids, at least. It's also fun to hear a podcast about a robot cartoon turn to a discussion on parenting...goes to show how the demographics for TF fandom has evolved in recent years. :)

Speaking of demographics, I LOVE the idea of a demographics panel! We've had peeks into the creative process from time to time, but we almost never get any insight into the marketing side of Transformers. There are so many factors that influence what toys get released, and when, and how they're packaged and advertised. The TF franchise has expanded so much lately that there's sure to be a lot more to selling the toys and the media than just aiming at the same market they were pitching to in the 80s.

This gets a big thumbs up from me! One of the biggest criticisms about Prime that I see on the forum all the time is that the plot is moving too slow and "nothing ever happens." But every episode has stuff that lets us get to know the characters better or helps with world building and setup for future events. It's a character-driven show...even if the plot isn't all-action-all-the-time, the episodes are enjoyable because the characters are so fun to be around.

I gotta say, I'm enjoying the positive tone of the podcasts. It could be useful to bring in someone who isn't gung ho about the show and could add a little more constructive criticism, but honestly it's nice to have an overall positive vibe.

You gotta love that about WTF@TFW in general. They don't get all fanboy ragey or act all snobby. They acknowledge both sides of an argument in a respectable, likable way. Even if you find yourself disagreeing with something you aren't getting pissed off in the process.

That would be incredibly interesting. I've always wondered about those types of things.

I really enjoy the small group you have doing the Primetime episodes. It never feels like there aren't enough people there to talk about what they liked/disliked/noticed. And your positive attitude towards it makes it an easy listen. I don't really see the benefit of bringing someone in who doesn't like it, because someone constantly complaining about a topic gets old really fast. You guys take the time to bring up criticisms when you have them too, and you do it constructively rather than sarcastically. The objective/positive approach you guys take to talking about Prime or even just in the podcasts in general is a huge factor to why this show is so good. No other podcast comes close.

Hey guys - I thought this might interest you.

Arcee from various episodes, in different terrain/lighting. There's a screengrab from every episode from Speed Metal on.
