On Prime's love of the fleshies: I think he HAS to remind the other autobots that cybertronians aren't all that matters. The others tend to forget that Earth isn't their planet, and while not maliciously, endanger ALOT of humans. Prime is the moral compass after all.

Still listening, great stuff so far. Just wanna pop in and make a note about MECH not having the weapons to even dent a TF. Thing is, I rather like that. It makes the TFs more powerful seeming and hey, it beats MECH having a guy throw acid in a bot's face.

That said, I do think/hope that as time goes by, their threat level will escalate. I can see Project: Chimera offering a challenge initially, although ultimately insufficient. And then after that, their danger level will further escalate.

I love how during the Crisscross speculation everyone just stopped what they were saying after Vangelus' observation and started talking in "Hmmmm!"s for about 15 seconds.

Like you guys, I also love the immediate look of shock and surprise Starscream has when Megatron says that he won't send help for Breakdown. I swear, Starscream has the best facial expressions among the entire cast of this show.

It's really nice to see Breakdown finally get some character development. I love that guy, and I really hope we get to see a lot more of him in the upcoming episodes. And now I'm really curious about the shared past that he and Bulkhead have... Hopefully we get a flashback or two of that sometime in the future.

Couple thoughts on the episode real quick As for the MECH deaths, they were the aggressors attacking giant robots, they sealed their own fates, end of story.

and as for MECH's lack of success after the break out, had they successfully subdued all the Autobots and Breakdown again.. it would be a very good chance that would have been the end of the series :p

Oh and I agree, I have been longing for a third functional and serious threat of a faction in a transformers series, and no the rainbowbrightsillyhumansquad from animated does not count one single ounce. (sorry to animated fans)

Wow, that'd be pretty cool if they kept Breakdown missing an eye. Any chance you could post that sketch, Vangelus?

I searched what Mikos voice actor looked like and I almost chocked on what I was eating since it shocked me at the resemblance.

:lol  Gog could not have gotten Prime's quote any more wrong.

Although I might agree that the exchange between him and Bulk was a tad clunky, and maybe a bit vague if you didn't pay attention to what was being said, Prime didn't go into a shpeel about how great humans are.

Prime first basically stated that even though Breakdown is an enemy, we much rise above ourselves for the greater good.

So Bulks kneejerk replay is whats that suppose to mean? we save Breakdown he'll go all soft?

Prime then comments on how, while a Decepticon is unlikely to chose the path of good, even they can change.

    Bulks all "I knew it"

But Prime follows up with, what I meant by greater good was that of the humans.
Which Fowler actually finishes, explaining how MECH is primarily a threat to humanity, because MECH's main goal is still to overthrow the world. And they could do that if they get their hands on Cybertonian tech.

Prime never went into any little speach about humans this and humans that.
That was pretty much in your own brain.

I think the longwinded tangenting in regards to Bulkhead's comment followed by the far reach-back to get back to the 'greater good' is still very weird and over-narratory. "What I meant by greater good was that of the humans" is clunk-ass clunk.

I extend my deepest apologies for not enforcing a memorization of the script on my podcasters! ;)

I agree on that. The way it was written was clunky. It took a few seconds for what he had actually said to catch up with me.

Actually it wasn't memorization. I went back and checked what it was, just cause I didn't remember Optimus breaking into a "I loves the humans" shpeel.

    Excuse me for correcting something.

You mean having a freewill to argue a point? Or in this case, call you out on BS...I suppose no, nothing has.

    :lol

Your freewill consists of trying to argue with anyone who even has the slightest complaint about a single episode. Just look at your post history from the last two days. Hell, a few months ago, you tried to accuse me of blaming the writers for something simply because you misunderstood something I said. But it looked like I was being negative, so you pounced.

You are passionate about Prime, it's obvious. It's cool, bro. But you are taking this show waaaaaaay to seriously. I got a quote wrong? So what. The scene disgusted me so much that recalling it was painful. I made my point, and I stand by it: this version of Prime is boring, sometimes creepy, tries too hard to be movie Prime, and is the only real weakness in the show.

    See you next week!

    I think you exaggerate sir.
I will argue with people on things, but it's not like I'm going around telling everyone that they're dumb and they should STFU. If I read a point I disagree with, I post a counterargument. Isn't that how open debate works?

And I admitted to misunderstanding. But if it's a full on apology you want...I'm sorry...Ma bad, bro.

I'll own up to that. I have actually had to catch myself a few times recently, and thought to myself, "Wow...You're taking this too seriously."
I'm working on that. But that also doesn't mean I'm not going to argue with people if I disagree with them.

It wasn't so much the fact that omg you got a quote wrong, it was the fact that the things you were critiquing the character on saying, he never actually said.
The dialog of the scene was clunky and badly directed. That's a critque I can get behind. But the whole thing of Optimue going into a shpeel about how great the humans are is something that never actually happen in the episode.

If I started going off about sometihng Arcee said in an episode that she never actually did, you're telling me you wouldn't correct me on it?

You hate this version of Optimus. That's fine. You're free to do so. That's not really what I was arguing...Though I do kinda disagree.

    I'll probably be here.
