    Uh...hi.

Long time listener of the podcast, first time replying in this section of the boards. I love what you guys do, and look forward to it each week. It's nice to hear the opinions and comments of people who really enjoy the Transformers franchise but don't take it so seriously that they forget to have fun.

I know it's a little late in the game to be replying to this topic specifically, considering that the new episode has already aired. However I just thought of a few things that I was a little...surprised that you guys didn't go into this time. Of course, maybe you did think of them, but only after the podcast was over. I don't know.

    I hope you don't mind the TL;DR.

    1. When Starscream was yelling at the Eradicons/Vehicons/Whatevercons he starts talking to the one in front of him. One to the side pipes up with an excuse (Nice bitchslap, by the way. Got a good chuckle out of that), Starscream very briefly acknowledges him by yelling at him. Starscream goes back to focusing his attention on the one in front of him with the rest of his rant and orders. The one to his side says "Yes, Lord Starscream." and the Eradicons all leave at the same time.

Something about Starscream mostly addressing a dude who is silent and largely dismissing the guy who is speaking directly to him was interesting to me. And it can't be that the guy in front was the "leader" of the squad or whatever, because why would someone lower on the chain speak instead?

I wonder if that's another hint regarding whether or not the Eradicons are fully individuals or not? Maybe they share a mind link with the rest of their squad kind of like G1 Reflector? Of course, this could just be a case of Starscream not caring about individual Eradicons because he thinks so little of them.

Or maybe he's been around Soundwave too much and is used to talking to someone who says nothing back.

    2. Megatron sounds awfully concerned (even compassionate?) when Bumblebee tells him that someone is ill.

"The Cybonic Plague? Someone besides myself is...is unwell?"

It was kind of jarring for me. I actually found myself saying "Wait, why would you care?" out loud the first time I watched that scene. Megatron didn't even know he was talking about Optimus at that point. He guesses that after a bit.

I mean, it wasn't a bad thing. It just surprised me.

    3. Like you guys, I really love all the detail that's put into the animation in TF: Prime so far and think it's done pretty well. In fact, I'm having to defend the animation in this show somewhere else right at this very moment (they're actually saying that the animation in Beast Wars was 100% better).

There was one moment that I personally felt was a little off and puppet-like, though. When Miko says "What was a plague doing in an Autobot spaceship?", she flails her arm and moves her lips in a really weird way. Kind of hard to explain, but it sucked me out of the episode for a second.

Besides that last point (and your point about Raf gleaning a little too much from one small sound from Bumblebee), though, it was a wonderful episode. I really enjoyed hearing all of you talk about it.

I've also recommended the podcast to quite a number of people recently, so if you see any spike in the number of people listening to your stuff, it might be my doing. I hope I haven't opened the floodgates too much...

I think every single episode thread has had a post that has the phrase "I'm surprised that you guys didn't mention..."

We are 3-4 guys, we cant possibly think of or remember to cover every single detail that the collective 40,000 member TFW community as a whole can think of.

I didn't expect you to think of everything. You guys are only human, after all.

I was just, you know, wondering if I was crazy or something for noticing that stuff when you guys never even thought of it. Especially the Eradicon one. I guess I look too deeply into things?

Oh well. Hope I didn't annoy you too much.

You're not crazy or annoying at all.

I'm sure we all see little things we forget to mention, even forget while the show is being recorded, and there's plenty of things we don't notice as individuals. In the end, I think we just want to cover the stuff that's important and try to have a fun discussion.

I do have one thing about the Bumblebee's "voice" of beeps and it seems some question why Megatron in this episode can understand it at about 31 minutes when the discussion of the beeps for the plauge comes up.

Since they are going to cover that whole beeping thing in season two as at least a good side plot, I would think it is not just BB who speaks/spoke in that fashion on Cybertron, it very well could be how they start learning to communicate when they are young, a simple "machine language" if you will, that any of the older cybertronians can understand like an adult talking to about a what 4 or 5 year old.

Now, the one thing I would grant is you would expect the Autobots and Decepticons to use separate "machine language" so they could keep things that needed to be secret secret. It could go either way though with a unified "young bot" language or separate, it wouldn't matter much in the end as I doubt either side would keep it secret for very long. just something I was pondering about that situation.

Speed Metal is actually episode 8 which in the topic title is wright but in the file name it's listed as episode 9. You skipped episode 8 in the file names. In the topic titles you skipped episode 10. Predatory is file name 10 but topic title 9. Basically from Speed Metal to now all your numbers are wrong.

This episode caught up to the mismatched numbers so both the topic and the title says 11 but you skipped a number on both so it's actually 10.

I'm just listening to an old Primetime episode when I hear "there was this idea that the Earth is unicron, but they'll never do that. Itd be cool, but theyed never make that elisode."

I'm just sitting here laughing so hard xD

Primetime episode numbers are not TF Prime episode numbers. Were never intended to be.
