You don't sound mean-spirited at all man.

I know you guys work hard and I understand putting these shows together each week can be an insane task.

Your points about why you guys choose not to talk about comics and other Transformers media in the numeric episodes are completely valid, but wouldn't a lot of the off topic stuff be subject to the same criteria? All of the hosts collect different things and often times many of them have nothing to bring to the discussion when someone is talking about an off topic item.

I always liked WWGTW because I was listening to other Transformers fans talk about their experiences and opinions about Transformers figures and merchandise. It was kind of like an audio version of the feedback forum.

Ultimately you guys put the show together and are free to do what you want with it. If you feel like your listening demographic joined a Transformers website and listen to its dedicated Podcast on a weekly basis to spend a good portion of it (whatever the factual non exaggerated unbiased percentage may be) hearing about non Transformers things, then that is up to you guys. I just get the feeling lately your other interests are taking precedence over the subject matter of the show.

I tend to agree about the length and content of WWGTW but most people seem to like it so whatever.

I thought we where good this episode with the amount of time we spent on a whole wave of deluxe plus Gog's Powercore hull and was surprised how long the segment ended up being.

i honestly think the podcast are just fine, and i love the off topic stuff, I collect more than transformers, and most if not a lot of the off topic stuff is stuff i am into, i can see how that can put people off, but i think the way it is right now is the best option

for example:Gogdog has several times mentioned Gunbuster on the podcast, about the revoltech gunbuster(damn i am glad he talked about it, i wanted to hear how good it is, still gonna get it even if it is a dissapointment) and how the music in a scene is really good. I never knew what gunbuster was until he mentioned it, and i gave it a shot, it is litearlly in my top 2 animes of all time, BARELY beaten by space battleship yamato. Now if the off-topic stuff wasn't there i wouldn't of found out about gunbuster and would of never experienced one of my favorite things now

i personally like the lenghty podcast, when listening to the earlier stuff they feel too short, now they feel just the right size. i get excited when a podcast is 3-4 hours long. I love to just lay in bed with the current figure i picked up and just relax, it is a great escape from day-to-day problems for me.

Keep up the good work guys, and i look forward to the next episodes in the future

Having been "that guy" myself at least once, I'll chime in. WWGTW was crazy long this time around, but it didn't feel that long since I was into pretty much everything that was mentioned except Macross. I think the part that I was least interested in was actually when you were talking about Power Core. :p

It was long. There was a lot of TF talk, and a lot of non-TF talk. My suggestion would be if there's a lot of TF talk in a given week, just try reign in the non-TF stuff a little bit. More of tl:dr version if you will.

Also, isn't it about time for another book club? I do enjoy those. :D

In regard to Kup's arm panels, try rotating the arms, so the panels are on the back of the arms. Not only does it look nice, it also moves them out of the way of the wheels, even when they're rotated up.

    The Source of all Kibble

I would have thought that the Transformers' toy use of the world came form Philip K. Dick's use of the word in Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep (I.e. Blade Runner).

It would only makes sense for a show about robots to share some nomenclature about human looking robots. :)
