The design of Mixmaster's cab was definitely based on the Mack Granite design. My guess is that Hasbro probably couldn't get a licensing deal worked out in time for ROTF, so they modified the design of the cab.

I see. I figured it was something along the lines of that. Kinda the same thing that happened with the sideways toy. I just couldn't remember for certain or not. Although I do find it a bit weird that they wouldn't license a relatively normal cement truck, but they do it for such a heavily modified truck as this new Megatron.

 

I found the timing hilarious.

My cat is normally good, but the one and only time she knocked out the power cord bar for the TV was the day I had it set up to record the first two eps of TF: Prime Thanksgiving weekend of all things. Thank goodness for those many reruns and I was home in time to watch it live, but considering kitty hasn't done it since that incident makes me wonder if our cats aren't in secret telepathic contact or something.  

 

Sorry if this has bin said already, I don't come to the forms often.. but I think that a power core combiner King Poseidon would be perfect... considering that that was the combiner whos body piece was the only sentient piece, and the limbs were mindless drones with no robot modes.... just like power core.... it fits........ perfectly............ COME ONNN
