Note on the issue of ammo. It seemed like most of the podcasters have played alone through the campaign. When playing alone, your squad members have infinite ammo, meaning you don't have to share. If you have two friends running the campaign with you, those boxes now have to be split between three people, and that's where the low ammo problems start to show up.

Also, Scientists are amazing. The entire time I was leveling my other three classes for Prime Mode, I really missed the mobility of flight.

There is another way to gain XP for healing, though it's a bit difficult. It's called "Turtle Shell" and you have to get all your teammates healed inside the healing grenade bubble. Can't recall how much it gives you, but it's an option.

There are a few of them. The point is, the amount of experience you get for healing compared to killing is not comparable and it discourages people from being a team medic. Even if your team got a nice bonus for winning the match, it would make it worth it. But outside of being a nice guy, it's more rewarding to say screw your teammates and rack up a bunch of kills whether you win or not. And that's unfortunate.

It's completely not worth the effort of herding cats in to your bubbles of love. You could have captured all the points by that point :3

I have not listened to the episode yet, but I do have a seven hour break between classes today, good thing I've got a 7 hr break between classes today, I need to get some studying done anyhow, and a study break with WTF@TFW is a damn good study break IMHO...

I agree with everything Gog said about the Scientist class. I really like every thing about it. I can echo the fact that there is a learning curve, but the outcome of the training is very rewarding. There's no other feeling like flying in at high speed into a group of enemies from behind and using the Shockwave... deploying a sentry and flying off before they know what hit them. When you do fly away you can turn around and use the Burst Rifle to finish off some of the 'bots you damaged... good times.
