Listened halfway. My stolen chinese Breacher too had gummy joints (especially with the neck joint), but I never noticed the problem with the alt mode that you mentioned.

Okay, here's part of the Fraggle sitch. Hard to remember because this happened back in 2003! Henson Co. sold most of their rights (but not all their rights,) shortly after the cancelation of Farscape and Brian Henson stepping down as CEO, thus splitting up their properties with different distributers. As it stands, Disney has the rights to "classic Muppets", basically Kermit and the Gang, Muppet Babies, and Bear in the Big Blue House (which aired of the Disney channel). Meanwhile the rights to Seasame Street and it's characters went elsewhere (Sesame Workshop gone independant?), while the Fraggles and a few other properties like Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas got DVD releases through a company called HIT Entertainment mainly known for their preschool stuff (like Pingu) which scared us Fraggle fans from the hopes of ever getting full season box sets only to blow us fans away with their gobs of special features when they did finally come out. What, if any, connection HIT has to Hasbro though I cannot say, unless there is some connection through Discovery Kids. Meanwhile, there is also Jim's Henson's Creature Shop which I think the rights are still maintained by the Henson Co. thus Disney would have no involvent to my knowledge in say a Labyrinth or Dark Crystal sequel either unless Henson asked for their involvement. Though the long awaited Fraggle Rock movie which seems just one step away from falling into development hell will have no Disney involvment at all when/if it ever sees the light of day. Though I'm sure there are other Henson fans who know a lot more than I do.

Needless to say it's a bit of a mess, but also why you won't see Kermit hanging out with Elmo as reporter Kermit on Sesame Street and explains why Kerit's intro was also cut from the special edition DVD relase of Emmet Otter. It may also explain why Muppet Family Christmas has yet to be released on DVD considering it features crossovers galore.

I had the tapes - Satalite of Doom, Storms of Destruction, When Continents Collide, kept the books, dumped the tapes for their horrible voice acting, Soundwave was awful! And Megs sounds like Mumm-Ra.

Gina Torres was Artemis in the WW animated movie, fellow Joss Whedon actress Amy Acker was Huntress in JLU. Love Firefly (can't say the same for the Serenity movie though considering certain spoliers).

Edit: Just now I realize the question was Movie/Show based. The only fiction he's had was in the Marvel Comics and in some Zone fiction(I think) So, yeah... did I sound like a Jerk?

Ah Vangelus, it's good to know others are watching 'Life on Mars' as well, especially the BBC version, the US version was... well, kind of butt on a stick with a side of poo sauce. After that, make sure to watch the sequel "Ashes to Ashes" it explains everything.

    - Galaxy Force (Cybertron)'s CG while not top tier was pretty good for Japanese standards of TV, while people are quick to talk about how the japanese are the kings of animation, they are still worlds behind when it comes to CG, but they are getting better and Galaxy Force was a good example of that. It was also nice to see CG models that were SPOT ON to the toys, unlike Superlink/Energon. Not to mention we were spoiled by the overtime/labor of love that was Beast Wars and Mainframe's other works. Heck find me another 52 episode (typical japanese run of a weekly series) CG series that is as good, does not exist. Also, I can't hate Galaxy Force, it had Nitro Convoy......

    - I personally really dig this new Arcee from "not" I-Gear. I have the Impossible Toys one..... it was well...... yeah..... So I am looking forward to this one, specially due to it's origins and history behind it. That and well..... I buy everything anyhow. Also the back boxart is actually ALSO stolen, it is some extremely old art done by our boards own Supreme Cheetor back in like..... geez..... 2005 I think Click link for image

    - ......and yes I didn't watch Firefly. I don't hate it, I just didn't and doubt I ever will due to other stuff to watch...... and Huntress in JLU was voiced by Amy Acker , Gina did Vixen (I know THIS cause I am a big Huntress fan)

    - Vinyl record Soundwave is just Botcon 2008 Script Reading Vangelus/Shockwave, you know it.

    - @Omegus; Whoa whoa whoa..... Megaman pins? What characters and game sub-series?

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    Listener Question #1

    - Ahhh a car guy question, EXCELLENT. Personally I would like a throw back and see the AE86 Toyota Trueno/Corolla 1983-1986 as an Autobot who is small but super fast. That car is the REAL Drift. Those who are in the know, they know.... HACHIROKU. (Fun fact the CG producers of Initial D worked on Superlink/Energon and had the AE86 cameo in the early episodes of Superlink's Seibertron City)

    Listener Question #2

    - Beast Wars is unrivaled and unbeatable when it comes to visuals. But toy wise..... Galaxy Force/Cybertron was always a winner and gave us easily one of the best Convoy/Optimus Prime toys ever made.

    - 2nd question. NEVER. The only thing I think about is stop being a completist..... but that thought passes quickly.
    -------------------------------------------------------

    - Thank god the R on that fire truck is some corperation name. That fuel truck.... I dunno..... what is registered under the Hasbro name....... uhhh how about Tankor? Haha see what I did there? Eh EH..... aww...

The Trueno isn't that fast... even modified... unless it sports two engines (hood and trunk). But I would love a TF based off that. I guess his rival can be an RX-7? Eh Eh?
