I think this went really well. Matt was super cool and spent a good amoit of time hanging out talking with us.
Awesome. I will probably be playing war for cybertron all the way up to the sequel. Its kind of neurotic that gaming culture makes every new game that sells well imply a sequel is obvious. (but WFC deserves it ) The focus could be on the rule of shockwave. As that's another grey period in the g1 cartoon lore taking place on cybertron. Also I was fiddling with ROTF Lockdown, and his back wheels can fold down a click in vehicle form for that war for cybertron hover car look. It still rolls like that.
Oh boy a sequel with Grimlock and the gestalts would be epic. I totally agree as to why they were not present in the game we have. Over all I'm very happy with what we are given.
What I like about this interview is that Matt Tieger is being honest. Some interviews I've seen with game designers is that they will play with you in your questions and try avoid the answers you want to hear. Like his answers about the Wii version of the game etc.
