Something I thought about listening to this podcast earlier...

When it came to WfC and you guys were talking about how some characters already have pre-Earth alt modes that aren't being used, you guys mentioned that WfC was supposed to be before G1. Is that right? I could have sworn the news posts were saying WfC is its own continuity leading to a new arrival to Earth, but it has a lot of G1 homages. How that was where the 'rooted in G1' came from but not necessarily that it was a prequel.

Am I missing something? :D  I know this isn't the first time this has been said, but it just caught me as odd when I heard it. No clue. Regardless, another great podcast ^_^

It's been announced that WFC is supposed to be canon. Personally, I never really regarded it as such. Tf just can't stay canon

I have heard the term canon, prequel and inspired by G1 all describing the game. It may very well be canon but not necessarily G1 canon. It's all very unclear.

It could possibly be canon to G1 seeing that G1 had no continuity whatsoever XD

    I suppose if there's a WfC sequel that isn't G1...:p

Didn't know if there was an official response about it. Guess there isn't *shrug*. Doesn't hinder my excitement for the game :)

Wow. Seriously, for the past several weeks, there has been more talk about Iron Man toys than Transformer collectibles in these podcasts.

I agree. When Hasbro starts shipping new toys, we'll have something new to talk about.

That'd be lovely. I know that 94 is going to be covered with non-TF talk when my WWGTW comes around.

I'd LOVE for there to be something new to talk about toy-wise, but like I said a couple eps ago, there is no reason for me to even go to the toy aisle for TFs because there hasn't been anything new for me since the Lockdown/Brawn wave that I got months ago.

Bring on Leader Starscream/Seaspray/Ghost MP Starscream/Animated Rodimus and Ironhide, etc.

I think that's a significant reason that I've given up on toy-hunting for a bit. Why go and look at desolate shelf-warmers?

At least my lagged distribution lets me stretch things a bit thinner, Lockdown and Brawn are still fairly new to me. :lol

They may be old to most everyone else, but personally I hadn't even seen Lockdown and Brawn until last week. Didn't want Brawn yet, and the Lockdown had crap paint QC.

I'm still trying to figure out if I totally missed Mindwipe and Skystalker or they haven't come out in my area yet. I've tried at least 2 different Targets, 2 Toys R Us's, 2-3 Wal-Marts and a Kmart. I've only seen Mindwipe once, at the time I didn't know about the Skystalker/Mindwipe Combo so I passed on it.

Now it seems like everything's clogged with first and second wave ROTF Movie toys. >_<

I did manage to pick up Masterpiece Skywarp for $30 at Wal-mart so it wasn't a total waste.

It may be for the best anyways. I'm hoping to get a Yamato Super Valkyrie this year and Maybe the Protector trailer since I have a Classics Rodimus.
