The podcasts have been very sparse on the comic talk, and I usually rely on them for such things. Because I wouldn't honestly care otherwise. I'll definitely give this a listen, thanks.

Same here. I really love both Nick Roche's and James Roberts' work on LSotW. Can't wait to hear more of Vangelus gushing about how awesome Nick Roche is. (Which, btw, is complementary, so please try not to misinterpret me because it's really hard to be sincere on teh interwebz, but dammit I'm trying my hardest right now). Anyway, I really love this comic series, and I can't wait to hear yours and the rest of the WTF @ TFW crew's overall opinion of it.

I love Roche's work too...but damn, you should just rename this to the Rochecast the way you guys go on and on about how wonderful he is.

That being said, I love comic discussion and I really hope we get future installments of Book Club at a nice regular pace! (not once every 6 months or more).

Really enjoyed listening to the discussion, and I agree that it'll be very interesting to see where Roche's transformers career goes from here in IDW. In the wonderful world of hindsight, I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Nick Roche and not Shane Macarthy had been chosen to follow on from Simon Furman...

Here's something: Overlord's character in this series was based on that of the Master from Doctor Who. :D  He even borrows some of his trademark phrases.

That is awesome. I may yet give these a shot, if only for Overlord.

I think that the Rochecast issue comes from the other books just having the same punch.

And I have been pushing for a comics segment or separate show for quite a while. We are going to keep up with these for a while at least, probably on a monthly scale.

I have to relisten to this podcast again about the first three issues of the new Wreckers comic. Unfortunately I don't posssess them at the moment, but despite that this would prepare me to maybe get them in comic book stores in my area.
