I've fallen out of pace with the comic stuff, so this is a great way for me to keep up with what's going on in print form.

Btw, æquitas is Latin for justice.

Thank jeebus for this podcast. I haven't been able to keep up with the events past the conclusion of AHM, sense being in Germany now really put a cramp on my comic book collection. I love all the buzz on LSOTW. I've got my preorder up on Amazon for the compelation books for it and Ongoing. Superb job guys, keep them coming.

Yes. We were waiting for Lost to be over so that Gog could play along with us. Now that it is, we should be putting one out in the next week or so.

Wonderful discussion guys! After I listened to this I imediately read issues 4 & 5 which I had wanted to read back to back. Can't wait for the next discussion. While I like the general storyline of ongoing it really pales compared to Wreckers, particulaly in the art department with Don's new designs, and Nefarious is even duller story wise. I would honestly rank LSOTW as one of the best TF comics stories of all time having read all the issues now. It's kinda a downer knowing it's over now.

Ironhide has been a pleasant read so far though, if a bit light on story, I really am enjoying the flashbacks though and Casey Coller's art is starting to rank up there next to Nick Roche as one of IDW's hidden artistic treasures.

Not to be "late to the party"....

I'm lovin' comic discussion! Now that I read them, that is.

Thing is, the Transformers Comic app doesn't let me download #3, #4, or #5. :(  I already know what happens in #3, but it would be nice to actually read it. I don't live by a comic shop.. :(

Also, the Unnamed Decepticon that got his head ripped of by Kickoff actually has a name. Borehole. And yes, I think that is his actual name.

I was able to download all 5 issues eventually. Not all of them were showing up under the Wreckers heading. Snoop around the app till you find it. It is worth it.

    It's just that they won't download. -_-

Hrm... I know I had a hiccup with it. I just needed to restart my iPhone and then leave the app up to download fully.

    Ten tries, no luck. :(

Ironhide #1 won't seem to download either... "Not Able to Authorize Download at This Time" my foot. Though Spotlight Arcee is downloading right now with no problems.

If at least #3 would download!

Just got to listening to this. Entertaining work, guys. I generally agree with everything you said. However, Vangelus, I think you were mistaken about which artist did which page when you were discussing Guido's contributions to issue 3 - he did the page where Kup goes ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH! while Nick did the one with Overlord and the crashed pod crew.

Easy way to tell who did what is faction symbols. Nick almost always hand-draws the faction symbols in his work, while Guido generally photoshops Hasbro-standard ones in.

But yeah, Wreckers is one of the few IDW comics where the two different art teams closely match each other (as not seen in other IDW publications, unfortunately).

Also, Simon Furman did the writing for Spotlight: Hot Rod and Maximum Dinobots. Nick did the pencils in Hot Rod and most of the pencils on Max Dinos, however.
