Pretty much early on the pair gave the tired old thing I have heard from Pat Lee, Neil Kaplan and others attached to
TF projects stating how big a fan they are and how much of a dream it is to do this.
What I am getting at is that I can understand one part. Micheal Bay is a douche bag..... hell Micheal Bay reminds me of myself a lot and hell, I would HATE to work for myself. I dunno, I get this image of him pushing them too hard for
ROTF, then I see DVD extras of both writers getting breakfast in bed in 5-star hotels with Micheal Bay fluffing their pillow..... it's all rather confusion.
Which goes to what Gogdog said, if sh*t did go down, Orci is being a saint and quiet about it.

Claimed big fan + 2 cash-in movies based on something your a big fan of + one sour experience = GTFO?
I guess in the end they ain't so dedicated to the TFs (They actually stated they lean more towards Star Trek), but on the flipside, it's clear they are the hot stuff in Hollywood right now and they know it. 2
TF movies, Star Trek and Fringe under their belts.... money is not an issue and they won't be unemployed for awhile.
