SDCC Metroplex also had a special box where he was fully assembled. It was enormous and carrying it at the con was a bitch.



Also, the reason Marvel Studios wasn't at SDCC last year was because they made their announcements at D23, which occurs every two years. So everyone figures they will now have a stronger presence every off-year for D23.

And I believe Fox is the studio not attending the con this year, because "piracy".

 

Marvel didn't have something for Hall H last year, but they did have a fun Agents of Shield/Agent Carter panel that wasn't in Hall H. Having been to Hall H, I think it's become over rated.

Personally, I find panels outside Hall H to be far superior in quality.

All I remember about Heart beeps is asking to see it a couple times because I like Bernadette Peters and the blank stare my mom gave me after.

I just saw that Bernadette Peters worked on Animaniacs. Would have been awesome if she ended up doing something for Batman.

Wikipedia says Starship Troopers and that Voltron show were done by different studios. Man, I loved that ST series.

 

I try and give myself strict criteria to slow down my shopping. I only have one of each character in my collection. Aside from characters that are twins, I only have one of each mold in my collection. I try and keep things as close to proper scale as possible with transformers (the reason why I have FOC Bruticus instead of CW). And I've limited my purchasing of figures for customizing until I clear my backlog.

I definitely prefer interesting character designs and transformations/engineering to any sort of accuracy to a source material.

 

"Dripping in visual explosion.". I like that better than "hand feel". Keep up the good work.

 

I just pictured a flowchart that combines the two into eye feel and flows back around to hand feel.

 

I gotta admit, I'm not a fan of Squeeks. But my reason for that is because I had a cat named Squeaks growing up. Bay has destroyed enough of my childhood memories, don't ruin my cat! Haha.
