Lots of tangents in this episode. So if you don't like talk of wrestling and lengthy discussion about tv shows, Star Wars and Netflix be warned.

I stopped listening for a while because of this. Came back eventually and learned I was much happier skipping the Vangelus-Seth episodes. It's like they get carried away and forget it's a transformers podcast.

The ones with Aaron and TJ are much more focused.

From what I have read it sounds like we could be getting bodies and alternate heads for the characters that are coming out as just head packs.

I've had this dumb idea kicking around in my head for a while now, ever since Optimus Maximus was shown:

Keep Ironhide and Sunstreaker as is

Take Rodimus and turn him into Wheelie

Take Prowl and turn him into Rodimus

Take Mirage and turn him into Bob

Take Optimus and turn him into Garnak.

Inspired by the Chaos event when all these characters traveled together.

So do I. Even when it's a topic I don't care much about, the conversation itself is usually really interesting.

Thank you so much for answering my question! And also thank you for saying my username correctly. You'd be surprised at howany people mispronounce that.
I totally didn't mean to mess anything up with submitting the question, I didn't know if there was a thread or if I just message you.
Thanks again. I love the podcast.

Oh wow, two shows in a row with my questions - thanks! I worry I may be sending them too often. :lol  Good to see my Titans Return question actually ended up being relevant in a way I didn't expect.

As for the tangents, I have to admit that I'm fine with them because it makes the show feel less "plastic" to me. It's like I get to know you guys better when I'm learning about more than one aspect of your life.

Random aside, the way my name was pronounced here is actually the way it's supposed to be pronounced. :D  I don't complain because literally everyone who has ever said "Malunis" in my life has said it wrong, which I figure is because I chose a fictional name so it mainly only makes sense in my head. Thanks again for answering~

Let me start by saying I enjoy both podcast crews. I consider all of you on the podcast to be friends I've known for years yet have never met.
Your rant about clonewars got really irritating. For a show you haven't thoroughly watched you and Seth really criticized it. Every question, concern, or critique you or Seth have is addressed in the series. I think the stigma of clonewars being part of 'the prequels' is an unfair and undeserving handicap. Rebels is good show but a big part of that, In my opinion, is because it derives heavily from clonewars. For example Hera, one of the main characters, joins the rebellion because of events from clonewars where she appeared in one episode as a toddler. Sabine recently revealed her family is of clan viszla; One of the villains from clonewars. A lot of characters or plots from clonewars carry over.
If you watch it and still don't like it fine. Everybody has their own likes and dislikes, but for god sakes give it a chance. There are very few series I have had such a strong emotional reaction to the story and the characters, like beast-wars or ghost-in-the-shell, Clonewars is one of the best written cartoons/shows to date. It has the awards to prove as can be seen here http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458290/awards

Just speaking for myself, I didn't mean to come off as legitimately criticizing it (I literally can't, I haven't seen enough), and I'm sorry that I got carried away talking about why I don't want to go into watching it right now. It's a daunting chunk of time whose place in the chronology just doesn't pique my interest as much as Rebels', doubly so in that I'm not a Star Wars hardcore. I've had lots of fun finding out about the Clone Wars tie-in bits after the fact! Clearly it is of a fundamental quality, I'm just happy with it being a series of historical footnotes with copious footage I can engage with someday in the future.

I tried to watch all of Clone Wars when it first appeared on Netflix. Something in season 3 put me off and I haven't been back. It was something to do with the force and a planet.

Can't please everyone. The other team has a different vibe and style, if you like that better then I'm glad it's there for you.
My cat has options but they are also off topic, mostly about the pros and cons of pooping in a box.
