If we're talking about good deals, I got Arms Change Gridon for $17 & DX Suika Arms for $40 on ebay They were used sure, but they were in good condition
Having seen both Devastators in hand, I am almost certain the softer plastic bits such as Long Haul's knee blocks and Scrapper's shovel are molded in a plastic that matches the hard plastic green a lot better.
So, regarding those hip ratchet replacements from Nonnef... do they come with one ratchet for Prime and one ratchet for Silverbolt per set? For example, If I want to replace the ratchets for both Prime and Motormaster, do I need to order four sets to get all the ratchets, or just two?
I bought my Combaticons last week in Toronto. Brawl's waist locks in place. Not really solidly, but enough that it holds in place during minor use and posing. Maybe they tweaked it a little before shipping to Canada.
I pre-ordered the deluxe Combaticons almost as soon as they went up on BigBadToyStore. The waist on my Brawl locks in solid, it only disconnects if I shake the toy hard, both limb modes hold together too. Maybe I just got lucky.
In your example, you'd just need two sets. Each set comes with 2 ratchets, and the ratchets are universal between Prime/Motormater/Silverbolt/Cyclonus. So one set per figure.
The podcasts are blurring in my head recently, so just to clarify. Did Vangelus get a Planet X Genesis and if so did he talk about it on a what we got this week. Could have sworn he said he got one and really want to hear him talk about it.
The one I got recently was Vulcun. I got a second-hand Genesis last year, not sure what episode it happened near, though.
My Brawl's waist locks together solidly as well. Vangelus, BBTS has all of the Planet-X Dinobots in stock.
True story: I'd almost ordered Summanus and Quirinus back when Quirinus came out, but then BBTS got Re:Edit Iron Patriot and that took priority. Now that the Canadian dollar has plummeted into the 8th circle of hell, I'm not sure precisely when I'll catch up on them to finish the team.
I think the Starscream and Conehead heads were probably designed as possible alternates, like the Armada Demolisher head we saw for Onslaught. Makes me wonder how many heads they've designed for toys that we've just never seen and would flip out for if we could see them.
I wonder if that would make a cool book/article/interview. Just pictures of stuff that didn't happen. I would see why HasTak wouldn't do that though, for business reasons.
I'd be super into that, to find out why things didn't happen, but yeah, I'm sure Hasbro wouldn't want to do it.
