Chris...are you seriously trying to say that we need Batman and Robin cheese? Chris. You're ill. Lie down.
Yeah, Akiva Goldman wrote Batman and Robin. He also wrote A Beautiful Mind. So I'm not ready to panic over his involvement in the Transformers Cinematic Universe(tm) just yet. Also making fun of the Flat Earth Society never gets old
He wrote Batman and Robin, he adapted A Beautiful Mind. You should at least get the panic kit on standby.
He wrote Batman and Robin to confirm to Joel Shumacher's desire to revisit Batman's 60s feel. I feel like it's unfair to point to that and say "he's a terrible writer."
I can't help but hear the constant thunder in my audio. It was storming like crazeballs at the time. EDIT: Also, click here for my Extra Life page. Both d6's are still available. Extra Life | Play Games. Heal Kids.
You know what? I admire you for still having faith in the film franchise. You are a less cynical person than me.
Hehe Much appreciated sir. The truth is I think the whole thing has a bad rap. I feel like the disaster that was RotF made everyone retroactively hate the first film. Which was unfair, in my opinion. I still think it holds up as a solid popcorn flick. DotM was just...kinda ok. AoE though? I felt that it, while far from perfect, was a huge step in the right direction. Particularly when it came to giving the Cybertronians screen time and character. So all in all? I would say the live action film series is trending upward. Not that's starting from a high point. Just that I think the last film pushed it into a very intriguing direction.
When you guys were responding to the listener question & struggling to come up with a different name for Starscream, I was somewhat dissapointed that you just didn't rename him Cobra Commander. He's already the Decepticon Air Commander, so Cobra Commander isn't too much of a stretch, plus there's the whole Chris Latta connection. Also, Devastator would get the new name Chuck, because anything short of Devastator is just a joke.
