I don't know if I should feel sad for never being able to experience fresh Crystal Pepsi or even New Coke, or continue to blissfully enjoy ignorance and indifference to the whole thing. Of course, finding ancient sealed cases of the crap is a whole other story.
be glad you missed them my friend. though pepsi blue was a horrible remind of what happens when you dont learn from your mistakes and again try and reinvent yourselves......
I loved Pepsi Blue. One of the old dewmocracy flavors was close to that flavor. But then again, i only seem to drink soda. So i am probably already dead.
In case you didn't know - MMC's Lockdown is supposed to be a remould of the character it was designed as - another TF bounty hunter that they're not mentioning for (Marvel)legal reasons, and that Mirage/Sphinx is part of MMCs new masterpiece line that is aiming for a studio ox feel to the designs (as mentioned in This interview).
i really hope third party companies follow fansproject's lead and do more japanese transformers after they push out dinoking. i agree with the guys for liokaiser, i think a dezarus is a good choice, dai atlas, and ive been dying to get my hands on a great metalhawk. what japanese tfs would you guys want to see?
@TJOmega just listen to the show. To be fair all I asked you for was $20. I never asked you to pay for shipping. XP
So you guys know, the reason that the Defensor's car-arm looks so off is because its actually supposed to be used as the leg. Up until these pics he was always shown as the leg with First Aid as an arm. Unless I am mistaken, these pics are apparently just there to show that you can scramble-city if you want.
Regarding Omnigonix's Spinout (Masterpiece style Sunstreaker) from the comments of Omnigonix, they almost went in a Alternity / Masterpiece style mix for their first project. Specifically, a modified Aventador. Which I know would hit Vangelus's sweet spot. Personally, I'm glad this is their first outing, as I think their first project needs mass appeal, and they can afford to diverge in later projects. These links mention said project: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...t-mp-scaled-sunstreaker-221.html#post11543207 http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...t-mp-scaled-sunstreaker-222.html#post11543314 Omnigonix also mentioned that they did consider doing a Jazz, but one that would have an alt mode that would be different than what we'd expect. So that could mean, that future projects could take on this aspect. But yeah, I really respect Omnigonix's attitude & how they've conducted their thread. They added abs to the design when ppl pointed out that Sunstreaker had them. However, remained firm on their decision to have a slightly alternate window from the cartoon. And they didn't all buy into the rubber tires or unnecessary die-cast crowd.
I got the feeling that Play With This Too is just sorta using Pretenders as a launching point, but is going to quickly expand into other homages and original characters once they have a library of body parts and some money.
Re: FBTB and Rebels, the guys on that site (or at least whoever did the reviews of the Ghost and Phantom) have some huge beef with Star Wars Rebels, spending more the review whining about how they think the show (that wasn't even out yet) is stupid than talking about the set, and the verdict boils down to "it sucks because it's dumb." They also claimed that The Clone Wars "wasn't warmly received," which isn't quite correct. Anyway, the two sets are pretty good, but you have to have them both in order to have a full package. The Ghost is a fun build (though ends up lacking in terms of play features), but you end up with a big empty space that the Phantom has to fill. The Phantom itself is a bit lackluster for its price on its own. I think there's a two-pack of the sets floating around either at Toys R Us or Lego stores, but I'm not sure how good a value it is. I'd recommend both the sets and especially the show, which is aces.
Crystal Pepsi tasted just like regular Pepsi. If you bought the clear soda it in a can (?!) you couldn't really tell the difference. All it really did was show how much money Pepsi wastes on caramel coloring every year. And I for one preferred New Coke. I still prefer Diet Coke (based on the New Coke formula*) over Coca~Cola Zero (based on the Classic formula). *Anything branded with "Coke" is based on the new formula, anything branded with "Coca~Cola is from the classic formula Right Now, it's everything. Right Now.
Bad mouthing zingers! I will not have that sir! That's what the red colored Twinkie clones are, usually they are really good.
