Lol I totally forgot that this podcast was coming. I'm glad my university is gonna be replaying it in a couple weeks.
There's a museum around here where the food court is only weird vending machines. There's a meal vending machine which dispenses burgers and fries, hot dogs, and other meals. There a oreo vending machine that dispenses Oreos, Chips Ahoy, and other cookies and sweets. There's also just normal snack vending machines. I'm not sure if things have changed cuz I haven't been there since it first opened up Link to museum: Greensboro Science Center
Want to know what's worse about Australian Shane Carman? He's lived in Ireland since he was two....AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I actually have an answer for Optimus being in that theater. I used to do stage acting so I have an idea how. Stage theaters and old movie theaters (used to be the same thing back in the day) had big garage style doors in the back of the stage to allow props and set pieces onto the stage. He more than likely creeped in there when it was open or he opened it himself and transformed into his truck mode. Getting him out just requires getting a tow truck in there though the garage door. Boom!
The Dinobots were those frozen metal dinos. They were part of Lockdowns payment, that's why his ship showed up right above them in that scene where Kelsey grammar lands in a helicopter to talk to Lockdown. Optimus was the final piece to finish the Knights of cybertron collection. They could explain the knights of cybertron as a group put together to track down megatron after he left cybertron to chase the Allspark. The dinobots show up on earth find those dinos that have been metalized, take there form, and start to track megs position, but end up freezing themselves into stasis-lock in there pursuit. Is it a stretch sure, but that's the nature of the writing from these movies. Also in one of the comic series for revenge of the fallen, there is excavation on cybertron to learn more about there past. That is where the triangle stone obelisk of "the Fallen" is found. The Fallen was sealed away by the Primes, who's job was to harvest suns for who? Maybe quintessons. In G1 the Early cybertronians gain sentience and free-will and over throw there oppressors and take the planet. This could very well be the case.
I've been eagerly awaiting this since first going to see the movie back when it came out! When I saw the topic listing I let out a loud audible "YES!"
Really good show that turned a few of my opinions/thoughts around. The discussion point of the Autobot team in particular was interesting. Looking at them as the joke squad or B-team really makes a difference that fits well into the film. With characters like Ironhide, Sideswipe, and Ratchet gone it makes sense that the insane group of Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs are a "last resort" so to speak. Like they just don't give a shit, which explains their attitudes. It works for me now.
