Wasn´t Subzero killed in the last MK game? In fact weren´t a good number of character manhandled by Sindel?
Ooh, cool stuff. Liking the new characters (Wasp powers and a team-up act), Scorpy's got a different edge to his voice but I'm fairly sure it's still Patrick behind him, and the X-Rays go for a three-hit now? Hot damn. New moves for the older characters looking good. Sub-Zero throwing the Ice Clone, Scorpion finally throwing fireballs and a sort of fire-dash attack and his fatality was grimly hilarious. Oh hi heart! Indeed, their asses were indeed killed pretty hard. Of course, it could be another dude taking up the title (a lot of ice peeps in this series), or maybe he came back to life (perhaps Noob's trip into the Soulnado wiped his soul clean or something, or maybe Quan Chi being a dick or something). We haven't seen any veterans other than him and Scorpion so far though.
Because only people who have the last gen system are worthy amirghte? Not everyone can own a PS4 or a XboxOne.
No, because the people that buy a next gen console deserve a game that uses the hardware effectively and isn't hindered by having to be developed for weaker hardware as well. Your financial situations as to why you can't afford one (if that's even the reason) isn't my problem. I paid for an Xbone and PS4, I want games that actually use the hardware.
Abandoning the PS3 and 360 now would be cutting off their noses to spite their faces. They're far from dead. Why should they drop support for last gen when it's still profitable?
They shouldn't. They should outsource it to another dev, which may be what they're doing, we don't know yet. I feel the need to say, though, that Rocksteady felt confident doing just that for a major AAA release. So it shouldn't be as crazy as some people in this thread are making it out to be.
I'm entitled because I have a job that I worked my ass of at to afford my consoles. Yep entitlement. I guess you think PC games should continue to support eight year old hardware too.
Oh you have a job? Good for you, guess what? Other people have jobs too. And this might come as a shock to you, but not all jobs pay the same. Not everyone can afford one, let alone two gaming systems. As for the pc gaming community, why not? It doens´t affect me in the slightest. I also happen to realize that not everyone can afford the latest pc gaming machines. Yep, entitlement.
And that isn't my problem. Games should be made to be as good as they can, and cross gen doesn't allow that. You know why that can't happen? Because then games wouldn't advance past a certain point if you continue catering to older hardware. This isn't hard to understand. Same thing applies to consoles. Watch Dogs would look quite a bit better if it wasn't hindered by being developed for both current gen and last gen. Same for this. Guess why Arkham Knight looks amazing. Because Rocksteady knows what the fuck they're doing.
In the same way that is also not my problem. Just like you want your piece of the cake, I also want to take the best use of my console and play some recent games without spending more than half of my paycheck on a new system.
