That's bullshit too, but at least that is confirmed to be current gen only. That's what I'm waiting to here. I'm completely wrong if that turns out to be the case.
I liked the music personally, and I applaud them for trying something new and not resorting back to the old stuff. This is all moot because I was gawking at the beautifully coordinated fight the whole time, and really couldn't care less about the music. And yet the various screenshots, and game-play trailer kind of confirmed that claim to be true.
I know as much as you do mate, so I'm really just going off of what Rocksteady claims, and all of those screenshots that they released a few months ago. Eh, E3 will reveal the truth I guess.
So judging from Sub-Zero's grunts, I think he's got his voice actor from the previous game. Scorpy, barring his everlasting GET OVER HERE, I'm not too sure if he's still got Patrick in the voicebox. Their designs are looking pretty sweet. I can't wait to see how the other characters are looking. Mileena's a particular favourite of mine, so it'd be cool to see how she's updated.
I don't want to seem like I'm not excited for Mortal Kombat X. I certainly am. However, that debut trailer in and of itself did not excite me. The graphics are obviously pre-rendered and there is almost no nuance of skilled martial artists in that fight. It's more like just two guys beating the crap out of each other.
This is... Interesting: http://www.p4rgaming.com/ed-boon-we...kombat-x-can-be-as-offensive-as-mario-kart-8/
Music was off-putting, personal tastes and what not. Li Mei plz... only PS2 era character I really care about returning, although I imagine most if not all will anyway.
After buying all those DLCs for MK 9 and Injustice and hardly playing them, I'll be waiting for GOTY edition to come out with all the DLC included before spending the money.
Who? And I'm a Mortal Kombat fan too, so I should get a say in what the music they use in the trailer should be.
Is this game going to continue from MK9? Because a lot of the characters I'm pretty sure died. As far as I'm concerned, the only surviving characters were: Raiden, Cage, Sonya, Scorpion, Quan Chi and Shinnok..... Can't remember who else lived...
That's because the last gen systems are still extremely viable with a ton of people still playing them. It's just too soon for the industry to "cut and run". I'd also argue that things are different this time around. The PS3 and 360 were a significant step up from the PS2 and Xbox with not just better graphics, but HD, better audio, Blu-ray(PS3), MUCH better online MP and functionality, PSN and upgraded XBL, and the true birth of DLC(for better or worse). Ton of other stuff too. What does the PS4 and X1 have over last gen? Better graphics, and...? Not saying they're bad consoles, just that there ain't a helluva of a lot of incentive to get people to jump ship. Especially the Sony crowd where upgrading to next gen means having to pay to play online. Hence, it's just too soon for the industry to turn it's back on last gen. There's still plenty of profit to be made there. Especially when next gen is dragging it's heels when it comes to exclusive games. Anyway, regarding MKX: Fool me once(MK9), shame on you. Fool me twice(Injustice), shame on me. I MIGHT pick up the Ultimate edition eventually after it hits the bargain bin.
