Just played the first mission of Halo 2. It was glorious. Can't wait to play multiplayer after work.

 

Played through CE, played just one game of Halo 2 Anniversary online on Lockdown.
Fuck. I feel as if I missed out on a huge part of my life not playing H2 online.

 

Well, technically, we'd still have a "Master Chief Collection". It's basically just buying all three games that came out, plus Halo 2 and 3's respective DLC map packs. And you could play all three games on the 360.

What about Halo 4, you ask? That game doesn't count.  

 

Halo 1 & 2 multiplayer over Xbox live? Do tell.

And we all know Microsoft could have simply repackaged the same 4 games, included Live support for 1 & 2, and we still would have purchased it. But they didn't. 343 went overboard because they are extremely passionate about the brand and it more than shows in the content.

 

Okay, maybe not that, but whatever. If you guys want to get the Master Chief Collection, more power to you.

 

But thats really the deal breaker since H1 has never been playable over Live and H2 hasn't been so for 5 years.

 

And I can understand why some people would buy the Master Chief Collection for that. Again, I'm sure this game will sell. Hell, it'll probably do better than Halo 5 in the long run. But I'm just not interested in getting an Xbox One. Most of the games available for it that interest me I could get on PC, PS4, or even the Wii U instead. The only Xbone games that even remotely interest me besides MCC are Sunset Overdrive and maybe Scalebound. Three games are not enough for me to justify acquiring an Xbone for Christmas.

Halo CE and H2A are running like shit in campaign, choppy frame rate (haven't played H2A but read about it, noticed it in CE). Multi just doesn't work for the most part, matchmaking takes forever to where I won't even bother with it until a patch. There's articles everywhere on the performance right now, GAF too, ridiculous.

 

No I meant more like certain animals ability to see clearly in the dark.

Just saying but they can use Mongoose like Hulk Hands.

 

So not much different than BF4, Advanced Warfare or Destiny during their 'break in' period.

 

I had no problems with Advanced Warfare at all...

 

That doesn't make it acceptable in any way shape or form... good lord.

 

I had a lot of lag and a lot of people reported faults with it's online.

Thankfully I just posted that game away to it's happy new owner.

 

Never said it was acceptable. Just bringing perspective to the discussion as the 343 hate is reaching Michael Bay status.

Bullshit. Bungie has received just as much hate as 343 has recently. Developers releasing shit products deserve the shit thrown at them.
