Oh boy, another WWII- wait, did that just say WWI? As in, "The Great War" of the early 1900's? Colour me immensely surprised. This is the first CoD since WaW that I've taken a genuine interest in. I wonder how extensive this "alternate reality" is going to be.
WWI ? interesting it certainly has not had much if any exposure in video games so even though its an AU it might just be a breath of fresh air thats needed in FPS.
Normally I would post something condescending about yet another surely horrible CoD game, but World War One has my ears perking up. And then I read "alternate-reality," and now I really have no idea how to feel about this. Could be interesting, could be garbage. If it turns out good, it would be the first CoD I've bought since CoD1. Anyways, you have my attention Activison.
While I'm going to be one of the many people who will collectively groan at the idea of another Call of Duty game, taking place in World War I is a nice change of pace from the usual World War II, hypothetical World War III, and Wars in Middle East games. Being set in an alternate reality, however, doesn't give me much hope.
Please let this be the beginning of the end of cod. Ghost so far isn't doing well. This one sounds stupid.
