Both systems do it, and it's something you can turn off in game, but I honestly don't think anyone out there thinks its a good "feature".

It's worded poorly, it should say Technical called. Technical fouls are ones that don't involve physical actions.

 

I don't know, Kinect *could* be useful for shooters if their devs take advantage of it and require that Kinect be connected and turned on to get online. And if Kinect hears that the player is an underaged minor playing a M rated game...BOOT! Ur done son!

 

My X1 turned on by itself and then turned back off after like 10 seconds. TV didn't turn on with it though. I wonder what that was about. An update maybe?

I've had some DR3 game crashes the other day. Happens at night (in game) while killing hordes in a certain area with the X-Buster, not with anything else. I guess the explosions, blood, zombies, and queen bees was just too much to process. I think its mainly the queen bees since they appear mostly at night.

 

OMG. This, and the bad language thing, ACTUALLY good reasons for the Kinect???


The swearing thing is the best thing I've ever heard. Totally implement it in future shooters. Most people get on just fine without excessive swearing, but hell I don't wanna sit there and listen to some guy that sounds like he has tourettes. Just have it check for excessive rather than occasional and BAM! Nicer atmosphere for everyone.

Galaxy's idea up above needs to be implemented like yesterday as well.

 

Wow. Kinect can stay in the box. I mean, I hardly ever swear but sometimes it's necessary for a joke or to make something funnier...that is really stupid though. Maybe for online games where people can hear you, but if you had an option so that people couldn't hear you and it didn't punish you then that would make more sense. If it does that for single player games then I will be annoyed.

Hmm, to pre order games or to buy an Elgato capture device. Decisions.

Oh shit, my Xbox One arrives on Friday 13th. I'm a little scared of the Kinect now.

 

For someone that may not be in the know, they really should put some indication that the console is installing an update instead of just giving you a green xbox screen.

So we have a release date for the Xbone's first Halo game, 24th December.

Halo:Spartan Assault, a top down shooter game will be coming to xbox one arcade on December 24th.

It actually doesn't look too bad, and will supposedly be set between Halo 3 and Halo 4
However it isn't an Xbox One exclusive since it will also be available on the 360, but still looks fun. Especially the new co-op mode.

It's also been out for windows phones/tablets for a month or three.

 

Spartan Assault is not a real Halo game. That's why it's funny.

 

Considering I usually use ventrilo for voice comm, I'd be fine with this  
Just means I could turn it on to get bonus penalties against all the ragers, while saying whatever the fuck I want in my own private server with my team.
