Well since the only Xbox console I own is the 360, and I'm committed to PS4 for current gen. so I can't play Halo 5.
So I decided to watch all the cutscenes to get an idea of what's going on.

The Cortana twist, I saw it coming. Ever since Halo 3, I saw it coming.

The plot feels waaaaaaaaaay too much like a Mass Effect thing though, of which case I feel they did it much better then Halo is doing now. Still I am interested to see how this all goes down. Poor Chief, now he's gotta kill his crazy psycho girlfriend. And it's nice to see the Spartans still are not as blind soldiers as I previously thought, which makes me happy to see.

And Exuberant Witness, pure Cinnamon Roll.

Played some Reach just now, Invasion. Goddamn they need to bring that mode back. And with playable Elites or Prometheans. Or both. Both is good.

I have to get back into Arena, I've been playing nothing but Warzone all this month.

Though I am not liking the new carnage report menus.

...how is that even possible? It is literally 100% better than what we had before.

Sure you get to see where you stand against all the other players. But I liked being able to see how much my REQ's had progressed, how much closer I was leveling up, and I could open any packs I had earned right then and there.

I guess I'm blowing this out of proportion....

So, Forge mode is coming to PC.
Halo Forge Coming to Windows 10 This Year - IGN

An interesting idea. Hopefully it means more Halo content coming to Windows in the future. Between this, Halo Online, and Halo Wars 2 it's the biggest content dump we've gotten from Halo in a long time.

Not sure why but when I play Halo 5 online and I try to mute people, it never seems to work. It shows that you press the stick down its suppose to mute people but it rarely does. Kinda like sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. It's EXTREMELY irritating to listen to fools drop F-bombs, all the time.

well if someone joins in the match after i press the mute button, it doesn't count them. thats why i mute a few second before the round.

the worse thing i heard before i knew about that button was some guy that saw a teammate had a gamer tag that was something like "blakgal" and he just kept using the n-word......but the funniest was some guy blasting heavy metal songs driving in a warthog.....

That sounds bad to me. One of the issues that I've had with Halo recently is the amount of stuff that's started in the game but then finished in external media (or the other way around), like the Didact. And of course there's the Jul 'Mdama thing, took the time to read all those books before Halo 5 just to see him die in the second cutscene. There hasn't even been any complex stories in the Halo games. Seems like they're going to refer to Halo 5s story as 'complicated' instead of 'bad'.

Was never really fussed about splitscreen, but it's nice that they're going to bring it back.

But so long as Halo 6 is released for Windows 10, ported well and builds upon the brilliant fundamentals of Halo 5's arena multiplayer I'll be happy.

It took me enough time to get around to it, but I just completed my long overdue Awesome Solo Legendary Adventure! Without counting the Master Chief Collection, I have done it on the whole series.
Even pulled off a massive amount of Achievement hunting. Funny fact is even now I hadn't played through on Co-Op.
I used my squads as flanking decoys, letting them take the heavy weapons or anything with a scope to keep them out of harms way, be useful and close enough to use them as med packs, relying on sniping or burst attacks in close spaces. They also ended up being my leading cause of death in most cases I was knocked down and they couldn't climb stairs.

Had a few epic moments, but nothing beats my Kraken battle on "Enemy Lines"
I tried rushing in through the Banshee hangar, but the doors slammed shut, forcibly ejecting me out of the Phaeton and onto the outer hull of the craft. TRIGGERING THE CHECKPOINT! It was literally like standing on the window ledge of a skyscraper, luckily I was within range of a leg to jump to and could get inside by jumping onto a turret station right over it.
